Ivy SCIV->SCV Changes

SW FC 3B removed, 1K? less range and +unsafe than in SCIV (I think) 1A+B? (too linear, not much unsafe but slow as hell) 1A, now you can only be able to do the second hit in CH and the first is negative on hit (I think), really? this is too bad...

There's also 214K ( now at least -15 on block). She still has old SW 1B, the input is now 11B but no long range version (WP 1B) this time.

214K has really gone down hill now then...its more unsafe and crap damage too,ugh

i agree with trace something defintly seems to be wrong with this ivy,theres no reasoning for her to be how she is currently and i doubt there just going to suddenly make her a lot better by the next build
they probably are done with her now and were nearly done ,when the last build was out,i dont know ofcourse,just what i think,if theres next to nothing new on her on this build then we will know

unless theres something we dont find until release that makes her magically strong,i dont think there will be

Oh I didn´t knew about 11B, but 214K is now bK isn´t it? -15?! LOL and it doesn´t have +frames on hit right? :S

Yeah, it's bK. It's heavily punishable by some characters (Pyrrha, Patroklos...) and negative on hit, of course. The only positive change is that the move appears to catch all rolls but this change is not worth the block disadvantage in my opinion.... it should have stayed the way it was in SCIV or BD.
 
For those that dont kno, the version Ring played is exactly the same as TGS build but with added chars. So any considered changes have yet to be made. Tago-san just confirmed this in the recent interview with Kayane and Keysona.

ok lets hope for a good amount of nice changes,id be happy if they decreased how much some things are nerfed definitly
does she still have any stuns that can make long combos anymore like SW 3K stun?hopefully they will make atleast one of those stuns not make the enemy fall straight to the floor
 
In SC3 you could easily get 80+ dmg from the charged kick.

Even if B+K will not be guaranteed, 1K will probably work as a tech trap, so when people will be afraid of moving you go out with B+K, haha.
 
Yeah, that would probably work but I think they shortened the stun on purpose so that you can't get too much damage from this move. I'm happy that the kick is at least positive on block.

It was super strong in SC3/SC3:AE, close to imba even.
 
hey ring,does ivy still have any long/long-ish combos anymore ones like SW 6B or 3B CL 214B SE 1B+K CL4B CL 246B does she not have anything long like that or anything over a few hits,any good combos she has like that anymore i was wondering? same with ones from WP 1B,66B,3A etc

do all of her stuns like SW 3B still just make the enemy fall to the floor?

i guess in general what im asking is she quite a combo character like she was in 4 anymore,im guessing no...same with she doesnt really fight at different ranges anymore,since her long range moves now suck
 
No, she's like SC3 Ivy combo wise. Combos are shorter and 90% of them need a CH. Also most of her moves do not stun anymore. The longest combo I found on PGW was CH 22_88A, 66B BE, 6B8 BE. Requires 100% critical gauge and it's super flashy.

You mean after 3[K]? I always used 1B+K, seemed to do more damage than bK.

I'm assuming 1B+K.. or is 7 B+K? ...doesn't pick up a grounded enemy anymore?
 
From the vid interveiws of Kayane it seems like they are still listening to fan request so we may still have time to get somethings changed with Ivy. Im revising my list again and i think everyone, especially those of you that have played should post you own request for Ivy.
 
I been basing my list off of what w have seen in SCV. The request from the wishlist might not hold weight with the Ivy we have as of right now, so i figured its better to go from what they have given us then base the things that need to be improved off that. Mine should be up this afternoon.
