I haven't been out so much as of late but I have one or two so I may as well...
Couple here looking at the same building I've done before from some different angles the building being the Dockside Outlet Centre.
This is nearby called the Copper Rivet just realigning my view slightly to the right from the second one above and did this quickly straight after. It's a brewery which also has a kind of posh little cafe/restaurant in the same building underneath this part actually.
This one is more mysterious. It's a garden. In Norfolk. Just a nice place to sit which I decided to take advantage of one morning while staying away from home last year.

Very impressive paint work. It was entertaining how you used clips from the terminator and ending it with a closing transmission. That was pretty funny and cool and the thumbs up. XD I've recently returned to this community site after years of being offline. Back then I was socially shy, but I came back as a much more confident and stronger individual. Had to slay some inner demons first, and thought it was about time I came back to see how things are around here. ^^ I got to play SC6, and loved it. Though it has been a very long time since I got to play it again. I don't have my own game console. Long story, but I do miss playing it though. Making ends meet, in my journey of financial independence is never an easy road to travel, but I guess, I have my real life matches to contend with. XD Thanks for sharing your art works here. They were really incredible, and inspiring. I hope to contribute some fan arts here soon too. At the moment, I'm just scouting around just to get a feel for this community site once again, since it's been awhile. ^^

Many thanks for the kind words. It's nice to see some different faces around although I'm not sure I've had the pleasure? I hope your artwork goes well and I'm glad you're enjoying SC6. I've had a copy since it came out but I could never bring myself to actually try it for some reason. Was a birthday present. My birthday is around the same time it came out. I guess people thought I liked the games. Can't imagine why. Perhaps once again one day. We shall see I guess but for now I still like to hang around here somewhat. Been playing Far Cry 6 for now. Last picture was from that and I've done a couple more since but I've been in a bit of a dry spell as of late.
I guess we're waiting to see if a few things improve.

It's been a very long while since I've been away. When I finally came back, I decided to now take initiative to approach people here online and try and connect. :) That's an awesome birthday present. XD I treated myself to buying SC6 on my birthday. Born on October, I was stoked when they named the quest mode, "Libra of Souls". I happened to be a Libra, so I was a bit hyped about it. It's cool that the game came out around your birthday. I love these fun coincidence. Always fun to think about. ^^ I feel ya. Some games, while it maybe really good and enjoyable, I couldn't bring myself to try or get into also. That came out really well what you did. I've heard of Far Cry6 but I never played any of the FarCry games. I was a bit curious but haven't really looked into it yet. I have been currently playing "The Witcher3:Wild Hunt", on the Nintendo Switch. I usually play in the evening, late at night sometimes, since it's the only time where I won't get distracted or interrupted. XD I do plan on sharing my art work here pretty soon. Been working on a SoulCalibur3 fan comic which was inspired from a student fan film I did back in college. I just gotta figure out how exactly I'll post my fan comics.
I also did my own OC character trailer, just for fun. Kind of like how they did with the canon characters in SC6. I'll be sharing them here pretty soon. :)

Haven't been able to get much done lately as I've said. sorry it's taken a while to get back to this but I like to have things to share. As I mentioned in my other thread I actually tried out The Witcher 3 but it's the sort of game that wants a lot of time and I've yet to really get into it.
I'm not sure about Soul Calibur 6. When I first got it I wasn't in the best of shape. It was years before I would be playing anything. I had Far Cry 5 stuck in my cupboard still in it's original wrapping until perhaps 6 months before Far Cry 6 came out and I finally decided it was now or never.
I'd like to do more with Soul Calibur stuff this being a Soul Calibur fansite but I've found myself fundamentally put off that sort of thing myself sadly although I did start a comic. The idea was to have characters based on the people here with influences from both Soul Calibur mainly and the FGC in general but it seems to have found itself on hiatus for the foreseeable future.
More and more I find I have too many ideas with too little time but it's easy to make excuses like that. I think that's something of the problem a lot of people seem to have involving choice. You can have so many ideas but you have to choose one at which point all the others have to be left behind. I think that this idea of never having enough time is the real problem here.
Imagine if you had infinite time. This problem of choice would no longer be the problem it seems. Sure in order to make a choice you have to abandon the other possibilities and perhaps it might even seem you'll never have another chance. But without that limitation that time gives you could do everything you imagined and more within the fullness of it could you not? Eventually. No more 'last chances'. Just choice.
As I said this is why people say starting is the hardest part and why I say just do it. That's actually the easy part. But anyway I do have a little something to share. The outside of a card I made for a friends birthday once again coming up. I had more plans for the inside but I think I may leave that mostly for another time.

That's so cool that you started a comic. Visual story telling is so much fun. ^^
Yeah, it's hard trying to get around to all of the ideas. So many ideas for projects, and not enough time within the day. I have an original story that I was working on, and it's currently on the back burner for some time. It's hard to find that balance. I also write and compose my own songs as a musician, but haven't really worked on them for years. It's hard because real life generally can be very demanding of our time and energy, so we're forced to make ends meet, just to keep our heads above water. It leaves little room for much opportunities to realize our creative passions.
I did came up with a strategy that seems to work really well for me. I'm generally a very slow artist, but after much consideration of my short comings, I figured out a way to improvise. While the method is in no way to speed up my process, it does enable me to...I guess create opportunities where I normally don't have any. I call it, "Incremental Momentum". The method was actually inspired by a boat captain I worked with at a cruise yacht company, when he mentioned the benefits of creating momentum. Basically, I add increments in my art work, after I have either written or sketched out the idea, and execute some pencil work here, then later ink and color a bit there, between whatever free time I have, whether I'm motivated or not, I add bits of progress onto the paper. When I have more time to really sit down to work on it, I'll have less and less time to complete it. Like adding pennies into a jar, it all adds up. Adding increments then creates momentum where, you're gradually moving forward with the process. before I knew it, I was coloring one fan comic page after another almost every day. Much of it has to do with planning it out. I learned that creativity extends beyond the drawing paper. I had to be innovative even with my real life situations. I still want to get around to my music, my original stories and other creative things. I don't know how I'll get around to it all, but being multi-talented, I do believe that I was meant to learn how to juggle them all somehow. I remembered reading something in the bible that said, "much is given, much is required." I don't remember the actual saying, but I do intend to use all of my gifts and talents. I don't know how I'll balance them all, but God willing, I'll find creative ways to make it happen.
I sometimes wonder why it seemed that I was dealt with the short end of the stick in life, and got a very funny epiphany just from staring at someone drinking tea one day. I don't know, but God has a sense of humor. LOL I saw the guy dip a tea bag into his cup, and thought to myself, Maybe the reason for all of my hardships is because I was meant to be a fighter at heart. I'm like that little tea bag. I don't know the substance that is inside of me until I get dipped in hot water. LOL Much of what I produce with my creative projects, be it writing, drawing, playing the keyboard, etc. all seems to stem from or reflected from my personal experience. Hardships and conflicts experienced in life, helps greatly in providing much substance to story telling. Story telling provides the backbone to every great projects. I remembered hearing that saying somewhere, I can't remember who said it though. XD But it stuck with me since then. ^^
I'm sure, you'll figure out a way to get around to all of your ideas. I had to do a lot of improvising on my part. Not that I have it all figured out, I'm still figuring out what works best for me even as I am writing. XD We do have the advantage of creativity. Depending on the current situation, you could probably figure out a way to get to most of the ideas somehow. It's very difficult. heck, being an artist alone has always been difficult. Most non artist folks don't understand our creative mind set. In our world, it takes a level of madness to become a genius. Some things are just crazy enough to work somehow. We're practically wizards with our pencils as our magic wand. XD
I remembered when I was living with my older sister, she used to think that my days off meant that I was available 24/7. It was hard for me to say "no" to her at times, and while I didn't mind helping around the house, the "favors" that she often asked of me, would take a toll on my personal time of rest. So, I came up with an idea, where I can make time to work on my drawings. On my days off, I put on my work uniform, and head over to my job place, found a quiet spot on the boat yacht and worked on my drawings, and came home, pretending to be tired from work, but I managed to get some art done. By seeing me tired, my sister would often leave me alone, and then I go to my room....and draw some more uninterrupted. LOL Of course, no one was really allowed to be on the boats on their days off. I used to take photos of the boat schedules and also the map of the boat interior to figure out the most unoccupied places that no one normally would be at. And then I plan my routes of entry and exits at certain hours and managed to get away with it. I showed up in my work uniform and then pretend to realize I was actually off that day and then leave. Of course I had a bit of inside help with the friends I made on the job. It's important to establish connections with people. hehe. but all of this was a result of tactical improvising. We have the power of innovation, which stems beyond the drawing paper. The world is our resources and so we make use to create an art of everything. The art of social interactions, the art of fighting without fighting, the art of war, the art of online navigation, etc.
There doesn't seem to be any actual road map for us artist, and perhaps it's up to us to figure out what works best somehow. It may take a long time though. I mean I'm still figuring stuff out as I go. But I'm confident, you'll manage to get around to your ideas somehow. Even if it takes building bridges over troubled water, then we may have to build stuff to cross over somehow from point A to B. The beautiful thing about this creative journey is that we're not alone. :)

I had a lot on my mind, and it just seems to gush out like a waterfall. Would you believe that years ago, I used to be too socially shy to even write this much? Yeah, I've sense that a lot too. When I was praying this morning, I felt a lot of anxiety that wasn't even my own. It's weird, but when ever I realized it's not mine, it must be of those that are having it rough, and so I pray for them. Art is such a powerful visual form of communication. Thanks for sharing your art works. There's just something about art that makes a powerful impact in a very deep way. I hope all the best for everyone also. ^^

Not at all. I like reading. Tis a shame all I ever seem to read these days is the internet... I mean usually seeing as this is my thread and everything I'd be thinking no one goes nuts but me to their own peril. But seeing as it's just the two of us for the moment anyway do feel free to share whatever you feel is relevant here.
Seeing as you have I think I'll share a bit about myself. I'm fairly OCD and I move quickly or I don't move at all as I'm fairly considered in everything I do and slow despite the superficial appearance of speed. Sort of like how they say in a moment of extreme peril everything slows down and your life may or may not flash before your eyes concurrently this is how I see things all the time.
It's hard to describe and it mainly gets me looked on like a freak or weirdo as I see all the detail most people overlook and they think it's strange and/or pointless to bother looking. Like it's a waste of time or something but it's never been a bother to me so to speak I just do it without even thinking. Asking me not to would be like asking me not to be me.
Almost the same as wanting me dead.
Often this results in me telling people things and them getting offended for some reason only to later realise the relevance of what I told them regretfully. After a while I'd just shut up and of course when it later becomes clear I could've said something they get offended. There's no winning sometimes. It's almost like people are only interested in what's wrong. Then they listen. Every time. Like they're only ever looking to take advantage of each other and if it seems they can't they're never interested.
I did another quick little Far Cry picture last night anyway. This time from New Dawn. I think I may have shared this photo in the other thread also. Just felt like it. Not doing all that much still. My mum's birthday is also very soon. Sometimes birthdays are like buses. In my family Christmas is just the worst but then my mum gets her own back come Easter.

Being unique is challenging and awesome at the same time. That's so cool, how you're able to perceive things in that way. Yeah, I completely understand what you're saying. You're able to pick up on many patterns in life like familiar frequencies of information. Not everyone can process information in this way. I used to think I had mental issues myself, but after awhile, I came to the conclusion that there wasn't anything wrong with me, I just think different from most people. The world is quick to throw labels on you, especially if they never take the time to understand where you are coming from. It's they're lost though. Oh I feel you on that sentiment there, where it seems as though they are demanding us not to be our self. I've certainly been there. XD It's a constant battle. We'd have to practically walk on eggshells around them, or as I like to call it, "going black ops" to the pulling out of the rug from beneath their feet if we need to. Well, if push comes to shove. XD We're like the real life X-Men. Though it would be cool if our uniqueness was as flashy as the comics. LOL
Well, I think you're an amazing individual. Reading the insights you shared in your posts was an eye opener for me and thought provoking. These are amazing traits that us creative artist are born with, and with experience, time and practice, wow...there's no limit to such potentials. This came out really cool. Great visual perspective and lighting. Very serene and romantic looking. That's super cool. I like drawing some stuff for my mom when ever I get the chance to do so. :) I usually bring my comics over and have her read it, and enjoy her reaction. I used to read my literature novel to my mom and sister, like a reading time, and get their feedbacks on their thoughts of my story and stuff. It's a great way to spend time with family. I miss doing that. It's a long complicated story, but we hang out when ever we could. ^^
Great imagery on the second one also. The lighting really adds a very unique perspective, in the way the character is walking by with rifle shouldered. It's like a mind set of a tactical planner, just overlooking the domino set up before, the right time to tip them all over. It's hard to explain, but I can see and understand the way the night time and the lighting is set up. Aw man, I can't find the words, but seeing them, I'm familiar with this perspective. That inner calmness. The two images portray, inner calmness and clarity of mind. I think that's what I'm fishing for. XD

Oh, I realized there was no reply button on the video thing, and I wasn't sure how to reply there, so I copied and paste my comment over here just in case.
Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, it really is lengthy for a trailer. I should have titled it just fan video or something. The lengthy aspect resulted in me trying to share the origin of my character from the first game that introduced the CAS mode, and made him out as a character that can travel from one dimension to another, portraying him as the same character from both the original and new timeline. From the Cadet in Grandall Empire to Conduit of Astral Fissures. XD
I hope I can do another one like this in the near future. ^^;

I kind of enjoyed the CAS in SC5 actually although mostly I just like to make customs for existing characters I enjoyed it as far as it went but generally it's not really my thing. I just like to fight and it does add an interesting edge when you can use all kinds of customs but beyond that it doesn't make much difference to me. I enjoy seeing what other people make more than going on about it myself. Thanks for sharing.
This is kind of interesting to think about also but I find it's something that the more you think about the more you end up over complicating everything. It just is what it is like we're just here talking about it. Comparing it to comics is interesting thinking about how that's what comes of such things. The X-Men was always about discrimination, civil rights or so they say, but I think it's more of a general thing. Courage is the same thing whether it's a soldier landing at Normandy or a woman sitting on a seat in a bus.
Anyway, I woke up feeling terrible today honestly and if I had actually sat and thought about it I no doubt would've decided it was going to be a bad day, but I did not. In fact I went out and did a sketch which actually did make me feel a lot better. You might call that art therapy in action. If you were of such a disposition. I'm just bored now with little else to do but think about stuff. So an average day really in any case here it is.
Just happened by here, round the back of the Dockside Outlet Centre I've done from a few angles before, and thought why not. It also occurs to me I never shared the birthday cards I made for my dad and brother back before Christmas so...
