i'd just like to say... Namco...ya assholes... you could take a page out of valves book on this one. a FREE completely mutha fucken FREE update that gives you a LOT more than the equivalent of one character (that should have been in both games anyway). Rant over :)
 
I haven't played through Dead Air since they've changed over to the redone VS maps, but are the freezer doors still unbreakable by Tanks but the survivors can shoot through them? Is that what you're talking about? If so that is a major oversight on Valve's part.

On a separate note apparently you can back up to a certain set of double doors in one of the No Mercy survivor maps and have a tank hit you with your back to the door and the door breaks open allowing you access to a very hard to penetrate 'killbox' room.

...also I got to 6:40 on the Lighthouse map in a pub before my entire team got Smoker'ed (two) / Hunter'ed (two) all at the same time, how long have you guys lasted?
 
Im off Friday - Monday. On Saturday hitting up a SC4 tourney in Cincy. SO. Even though I SHOULD be practicing, Friday and Monday(maybe sunday too) I'll be around for some L4D action. I've yet to play SRVL, DT, or DA with my fellow Pressure Game nor 8WR fellows. Been playing the past few days with a co-worker(who is god awful at teamwork) and my friend, known to you guys as killerbeaver. He has improved since I first introduced him to the game. And randoms on the VS maps(entering Party chat and winging it, I really...don't care what they have to say.) Im ready to bring a fruit basket worth of rape claw and a full helping of N.B.A JAM Noggin donks.

Also I got 9:30 something in sewers survival stage. We ran out of amo around 7:00 and had to kill a few tanks with pistols lol.
 
This is nearly half price on Steam this weekend if anyone's interested.
It's also free for a trial period (new content included)on Steam, but I'm not sure how long that lasts.
 
so Thursday im off work, its also my only day off, so I wanted to do something special...while I dunno what my plans are during the day...I was wondering if maybe we here at 8WayRun could get an Xbox360, 8 man game going. I've yet to really play with anyone on the new vs maps or the old ones with the patch. Maybe who all/evers left we could get a few rounds of Survival mode in there. or Maybe an Expert run post-patch for anyone who wants to try for those achieveos. but VS is the main, guarnteed event. plently of Noggin Donks and Rape Claws to go around.

I've got no work tomorrow, I can't be up too late because I work an early shift, but I've been wanting to play with you guys for a while now. Thursday would be perfect for me, provided no more random bullshit work calls happen.
 
Lol i played this game for a few weeks on my crappy laptop when my ps3 broke. L4d on laptop = fail... It was laggy as hell on that rooftops bit and basically anywhere there was a horde. Still fun game interesting to hear about all the updates.
