Maxi Frame Data

I haven't tested yet HRD but I speculate its either a range issue or Maxi could be TC'ing after the guard...
I know Algol's AA punishes 88A(1p) and his 6B*6K*3K*2K can't so it must be -14... I'll keep doin frames, data will be up tomorrow sometime, I'll post in chunks cause my computer likes to freeze (bitch)... One thing I WILL be excluding until I test it further is the PSL data, its so mind boggling because each move enter PSL's is affected by it differently due to the natural transitioning... Like always if anybody has questions on my awesome notation skillz please ask tomorrow...

88A (8wr LEFT A) on block cannot be punished by X's AA or Taki's AA. I have tested it in training mode EXACTLY HOW MR. BLAZE JUST SAID AND by having someone sitting next to me trying to punish it with anything. Couldnt be done. And what makes me think that....if I have a 88A thats blocked, I can block any punishment attempt. If I have a 22A (8wr RIGHT A MAXI"S RIGHT) thats blocked, Im eating a fat punishment because Im trying to clear out the LI stance before I can block again! This is all talking FROM THE 1P SIDE!!!

You know what...I give up nevermind!!

I just retested this again and X punished me at all ranges as long as she can reach. She even punishes with K which is slower. Not sure what you're doing wrong, but this is consistent with the frame data. You got the notation correct this time though, and that is how the frame data has it :)

Im confused on how 22A (8wr right A) is -7 on block when it goes into LI. While 88A (8wr left A) seems really safe and I dont get punished for it and is -14. There has to be something Im missing.

So now Im at yalls mercy. Someone explain to me why this is. Cause I dont get it!

The negative frames mean that the opponent will be available to begin their next command that much earlier than you.

So not being able to block for a longer period when you 8wr A into LI doesn't mean anything when it comes to negative frames. It's just measuring from your opponents recovery, to the point where you can begin to execute something from LI.

Someone mentioned a while back that we probably should do frame data to the point at which he can guard as well, but noone bothered with it cuz that would convolute things. Double the amount of blockstun to calculate. One for into stance, one for neutral guard.

8WR right A -> G (cancelling the stances) would be bs -20 something or even more...but its bs -7 into STANCE means LI A (i16) will trade with attacks i23 from the opponent. In essence it really is an indication of advantage/disadvantage going into stance. Attacks that go into neutral eg 8WR left A follow the normal scheme of things.

8WR right A -> G (cancelling the stances) would be bs -20 something or even more...but its bs -7 into STANCE means LI A (i16) will trade with attacks i23 from the opponent. In essence it really is an indication of advantage/disadvantage going into stance. Attacks that go into neutral eg 8WR left A follow the normal scheme of things.

AAAAHHHHHH....ok that makes sense. I was confused on why something was -7 when maxi still has to into a stance and THEN block. OK ok i get it. I assumed that the wiki was always showing what it would be on gaurd. All right, I digress. Just one more thing to make maxi even that more difficult.
