Missing character discussion

Omg are you crazy
Talim has a huge fan base, has been in the game longer than zasalamel, has a different background, has a different story, specific personality, extremely unique move set, and more.. How could you cross her out?

In SCIV there were very few Talim players. The only reason people are whining about her is because she's gone. While she was actually in the game no one gave a fuck. When you came across her in a fight you just laughed and enjoyed the match up that most likely in your favor to a large degree.

Well that's insulting haha xP I tried playing as her. She's fun and I miss her, and I'm sure the people who actually did play here used nuer well, and miss her even more. Just because someone doesn't play as nightmare or Siegfried, doesn't mean you should laugh at them lolol

I don't really keep up with high level players. Lol
I don't know why you're hating on talim, she's cool all around
And you should respect the people who play as her, or attempt.
I respect anyone who doesn't play as nightmare

I just look at it that, if you're good enough with them, pretty much anyone in that game can be something you just whomp the rest of the world with. I remember when Siegfried was considered a much lower character in terms of tier than he is nowadays, which, alongside the fact that Maxi is still in the game, that ol' butt pirate, proves that tier has pretty much nothing to do with who the developers choose to put in whatever game is next.

I ain't afraid to admit that I kinda liked Talim, though. She was almost as bad as Algol about getting herself thrown out of the ring, and it was kinda funny if I wasn't playing a serious game.

If Siegfried was considered a lot lower tier than he is now days I am scared. He is running out of places to fall.

But yes I agree with the point of your post, any character can win, just some characters have a much harder job at it and at high level play, you should pick whoever gives you the best chance of winning, hence the lack of Talim players.

Because she was low tier, ppl prefer to use their other characters in rank or whatnot. Like I''ve said many times, I like her better than Raph but I used him more just for the win.
Also, Kura and Oofmatic used her before Ooof dropped her. But Kura was still a very good player with her.
 
With all said, talim being low teir, or whatever the hell you guys care about, she deserves to be in the game. Unique weapons is what soul calibur wanted. Zas and talim both have great fan bases and should be respected

Oh yea they can buff her plus she was quite unique I have no issues with her being in whatsoever, I was just explaining why you almost never saw her at high level play. I saw her a lot in online casual play however.

but on a more serious note, I started going back into Soul Calibur 2, looking through all the weapons and museum mode, and I couldn't but help feel more appreciative towards the characters but let me also add in some things.

I think they did it, because they didn't want more then one kind of weapon in the game.
Or they were tired of the same characters or something, so.. They made them die, replaced, disappear, or old person.
