Namco Reveals Nightmare, Raphael and Leixia!

Okay, so technically, we all knew these characters were coming... Nightmare was leaked by Daishi several months ago on his Twitter, Leixia was soft-announced at this year's EVO, and Raphael was pseudo-revealed through some clever detective work dealing with the resumés of musicians.

I myself got a chance to play these characters and more at the closed-door press conference earlier in the week and I will give some short impressions about them, and the game in general tomorrow. There are many more announcements coming during the next few weeks, so keep paying attention!

Actually it is I mean you can even see the body in the 2p costumes. I think the story handwaved the issue away by saying Zas made Soul Edge a copy of Sigurds body that wasn't permanent or something.

Anyway I like Rafas new costume and Leixia's hair pisses me off less than it did in the artwork.

 

I don't like Leixia's costume. it just doesn't work in a 3d model. It looked special as an illustration. But not that we see it in action, the whole thing just looks like an up-turn diaper.

I never preferred Raphael as a character, but come on, at least the hat makes him look better.

 

Looks like Raphael's new design was inspired by Vampire Hunter D.

I was about say that! That costume scheme looks definitely like that.

 

Then we would be bored after 12 hours.

i just want to know the roster already, i mean they can release the artwork and stuff later you know?

 

Personally I like that they wait a bit to release new info...gives me something to look forward to and keeps me interested for the long haul rather than a short time. We most likely will not get the full roster released until January 20th or so. 3-4 characters each month is my guess...with 2-4 stages released at this time as well. maybe some create-a-soul stuff here and there as well...for example in November we should get a cas demo.
