Sieg vs. Kilik (Interesting) I actually feel Siggy gives Kilik a rather difficult time. (Thanks for taking 10 dollars though).

I haven't played Tekken5DR in a long time effectively since migrating to Soul Calibur, but i'm game. Tekken5DR is so laggy online that it would finally be nice to actually enjoy a match. I wish there was a tournament for this as well. I don't mind what type of matches we play in Tekken though so i'm up for anything.
 
Something-Unique, Do you really think Kilik has a chance vs Astaroh? I see very uphill for Kilik. Only thing I see going for him is 66B.

KPcccc Sup man. I play Kilik. Just find Astaroh a little weird for Kilik.I have a 160 point combo if kilik steps bullrush :)

Yeah I think he does, but I also agree it's an uphill battle.

Lately after going back to the drawing board in preparing myself for the upcoming CJ Tourney I realize Kilik doesn't even really need Asura. To me now I see it as a tool to make your opponent question using mids. He can do more damage without it. I actually think it's more valuable for tech-jumps now or in cases like Taki's teleport where she goes up in the air and she comes down with that low or mid attack. If you time it correctly you can simply eliminate both.

Casual matches are nothing but a show of disrespect. You go someplace specifically to play Soul Calibur or some other game, and you're saying to someone "I don't want to play you unless it's free." Like shit in life is free. I've heard all your excuses, it's bullshit. It's nothing but disrespect. So if you casual match me, I'm not showing you respect.

I know there's at least one or two people who will jump at this chance, I'm accepting all casual matches FT5 for free. And when we're done, we're done. Permanently.

Thanks, and you best believe i'm gonna rep for NY/NJ (damn sounds so cheesy). Hopefully I will eventually be able to pass through there. Yeah it would be nice to learn some stuff. Ditto on the No Homo.

I don't do money matches generally, but I think a lot of that is because my favorite game is Guilty Gear - players generally go all out even in casuals, since it's so important to get as much matchup experience as you can against every single character. There are still plenty of money matches in that community, but they're started by the people who are just big-time gamblers in general.

I'm fine with MMs for the most part, but there are a couple elements of them I don't like:

1. People making them out to be more important than the tournament.

2. People charging money to play casuals.

Thankfully, neither of these things seem to be an issue with SC, so I'm not seeing what the problem is.

Those things are an issue in many parts of the community though, and that's what bothers me the most. And those kinds of money matches ARE disrespectful. Where I disagree with everyone else, is that because both players are doing it just for fun it's ok, to me it's minimalizing a real problem with the attitudes of the FG community.

But whatever, most people so far even if they disagree, at least respect my opinion and aren't making an issue of it. Except like, sword lord and shit, haha.
