Nightmare Web Theater.

as a nightmare you need too press your opponent more.
expecially your enemy is the slow one. except his knee ( 6K ? eh...)
and make use the NSS and GS efficiently. :)

and tiamat, are you sure that minerva doesn't familiar with night?

sometimes he performed a good GI ( I don't think he can perform it when he unfamilliar with night)
or maybe he did it on reflex when he see the opponent moving and attack?
and he can interupt some night move efficiently

but sometimes he blundered like...
he ate 1A and loosed his defend

as an astaroth player minerva did well
and has a potential to be better. :D
but I think he should play with night more often =P

Wow guys I have to say I'm nothing short of impressed with some of the stuff your pulling off with Nightmare. I haven't really played since 2, but I'm trying to get back into it. I would love to play some other Nightmare's.

Holy shit at the fact that he can just tech out of 2KB every time.

i'm more amazed at the amount of GIs he's pulling off and the fact that he didn't use a single low in that game, either he has very good reflexes or that mitsu player isn't good enough

wow I have never seen anyone just ukemi Mitsu's 2KB so consistently. I didn't like how mitsu wasn't doing anything about WS though, I thought any follow up would be pretty easily stuffed by 2A out of WS/

It is possible to make 2A miss after blocked WS but he didn't do that at all. Mitsu shoulda done way more 2As.

The nightmare player has some pretty crazy rushdown and is fun to watch so I looked at some others. Problem is he doesn't seem to know when to pull back, he's just always moving forward. GS > 4A was working well for him oddly enough. I'll look at more later.

We have a stickied NM web theatre thread for all your NM video posting needs. Can you post your videos there?

very nice matches, i don't know how you people pull off does GIs JIs but fuck that's mighty impressive, you guys must'd played against each other alot.

i didn't play alot against this siegfried, my defense was very bad against him, his style is different than the usual siegfrieds i fought. and i know how much dangerous siegfried is to just prolong the fight with him and defend.

copy paste my comment on youtube

good NM , good GI skill

try use...
1K
66K

more side step will be good to improve your NM gameplay :]
NM has good 8 WR move for punish

thx for the comments :) yeah i do alot of mistakes with NM, specially diffense wise i'll try to be more careful.

heres more videos, i added some music so you don't get bored:

same sieg i fought in the previous vids appears to be more relaxed.

Part 1

Part 2

heres another 1 with alot of mistakes but somewhat funny.

NM has good 8 WR move for punish

It may be a matter of preference but I like to do sidestep (2 or 8) into 3. You don't have to use an 8WR move to punish from sidestep.

Hell Bottom:
Watched the two most recent sets vs sieg. nice going on the FC B+G (wall) back grab combo. You are using most of his moves properly which is good.

Some things to improve though...
Need better hit confirm skill. You do GS A normal hit > 6A which is really bad. 6A gives sieg a free 3B on block I think, but regardless of that, you are wasting a potential mixup. Another very common one is WS > NSS K, which you do whether on block or hit. On hit that is a very weak combo, pay more attention and do nss bA if you connect. On block it is ok until sieg starts 3Bing to TC under you NSS K, or just blocks it then takes a free 3B.

Nice pressure, Hell Bottom.

The sieg doesn't seem to be very familiar with NM's stance tricks. Sieg's 3B TCs very early, it'll actually TC under NSS K after [A]~NSS iirc. If I was the Sieg I would have done 3B much more frequently after blocking a NSS transition, which is good and bad for NM, because then it opens up the possibility of NSS 236A.

Just some trivial stuff. You missed some combo damage at times, like doing 6A after CH GS A when sieg had his back to the wall. 4KK is always better after CH GS A if they are near a wall, unless you are going for a left side RO. Also at times after a wall splat you used 44BB, I feel 44B is better in every way, because it'll give the NSS [A] tech trap and the possibility of a re-wall splat with NSS K/bA.
