Nightmare

according to SU the unblockable window after a successful GI has increased to 23 frames or more, meaning you should get an unblockable 3B or 33B
 
the damage on those vids is incorrect, look at the first hit damage. they have CH it increases overall damage on characters in combos too.
 
The point is that the damage scaling is not so harsh. 2A+B did 37%/50% instead of 12% or something like that.

Good:

22K6 -> GS - Much improved... since it forces crouch both GS A or GS KK will beat your standard 2A (or FC A actually)...

Damage : improved... just watch various vids...

CH 6K -> 33B is always guaranteed..... however GS KK could be ukemi.. BUT 1A seems to be a tech trap... muahahahaha

2A+B on block seems safe.

Soul Charge GS A = CH GS A

NM gauge game is drastically improved...

GS A+B is possible to self RO.
NSS A+B -> 66B doesn't seem to be a tech trap anymore... haven't tried other options.

imo... NM became a beast.... unless there's stuff that got uberly nerfed that i don't know about.. imo.. i can live with NSS A+B -> 66B.... and i have a feeling you can use the other tech traps and it works.

Soul Charge GS A = CH GS A

Its just like how I theorized his Soul Charge mechanic after release. All "claw" moves would have CH properties but oddly GS A didn't, but now it does :D

Its too bad we lost the NSS A+B -> 66B techtrap. Hopefully GS B still works.

I'm a little disappointed that GS A+B can self ring-out now, guess it can't be used to ring-out at the edge anymore after 33B.

Can someone check if 66B -> 33B -> GS KK still works?

Does NSS K still whiff after a and NSS A?

I think Silentwall said he'd be getting the game very soon so hopefully he can shed some light for us too.
 
well 6K still doesn't have a SC upgrade as far as I know

also soul charge GS A causing stun is cool but....how often are you gonna be using GS A when you're in SC? rather useless upgrade imo
 
Maybe the opponent will RO before NM ROs himself with GS A+B. I can understand taking out the 66B tech trap; they're most likely trying to encourage you to use 2A+B as a combo ender more and mess around with his SC mechanics.

Sing said WS->GSKK is no longer a combo that it can be guarded now. =| And the speed of 66K6 into GSKK seems different.

Schneider-X, I haven't get it yet. =(... Probably it will arrive at Sept 1st here.
 
WS B, GS KK no longer combo. This is extremely disapointing, i get 80% of my RO, wall combo with this move. -.-
 
wha? don't understand, does that mean people can tech out after WS B ? so GS KK doesn't connect?

seems like NM lost some good tech traps and wall potential..hmm.. lame..

its probably something to do with the damage, i mean the relaunch from 66B is pretty damaging and the overall inrease in wall damage. shit I'm gonna miss WS GSKK so much, its like the best thing from RO and Wall
 
I assume it is like SC3 where they just have to block the GS KK immediately after the WS B hit. (though it was side hit combo in that game)

Nightmare just gets worse and worse in every version of the game, but so does virtually everyone else so it doesn't adversely affect his tier rank (slightly in the reverse direction.) So basically I'm saying Nightmare continues to get worse but also steadily rises in the tiers with each new version of SC. lol
 
lets list out some of the stuff that needs to be tested

1.) FC A+G > 33B tech trap still works?
2.) does FC A+G_B+G pick up give any advantage?
3.) how safe is FC A+G_B+G now
4.) Since WS > GS KK is not a combo now, howabout CH WS > GS KK, or CH WS > NSS A+B > GS KK.
5.) 3B > 1A tech trap still works?
6.) 66B > 33B6 > GS KK combo still works?
7.) any improvements on 4B ?
8.) 1[A] still give advantage ?
9.) Whatabout wall combos? CH WS > NSS A+B > GS KK > 4KK still works?
