Also, what time does the HOG open? I have never been.

7 French. HOG opens 4pm-ish but I won't be able to make it 'til 5.30pm. If you do go earlier make sure you say you're there for the SC event over the weekend and it should be £15 entry for all 3 days.

I think it's safe to say I wasn't really ready to take this on, considering I was feeling more confident with Algol than the characters I actually main on the day. Regardless, very very glad I got to stop by and do stuff like give commentary in the solo finals, hang around and actually learn shit from getting my butt handed to me repeatedly. =P Promise I'll level up for next time~

Thanks to all who helped putting everything together. Even though your event didn't get nearly as much attention as it deserved, the result was great. I was especially impressed by SilentJoel! Looking forward to playing you all (if Uni will keep me less busy...), so you better prepare for that with the Frenchies. :D

Nice to see the French going to tournaments abroad after so long (I guess the last one was EBO 2012). Good show. :)

GGs to one and all. Good seeing the old faces and meeting some others for the first time. Jeff, Wayne - sound dudes, just don't let Jeff order the taxi.. ever :) Also, got me hooked on that bloody Super Hexagon.. if I ain't online i'm probably playing that!

Would also like to extend my gratitude to Joel for organizing the event.

As far as SCV goes.. some great games/fun had in the casuals, of which I got to play a shitload. Offline ftw. Learned a lot and it was great to get perspectives on play-style from the likes of Duncan, Darren, Joel and the Frenchies, in particular Deus (good to play a high level Aeon), Rock (dem option select just guards) and my fellow manjitou Happy.

Sorry for the late reply, been a bit busy. Great to see the UK guys coming from around the country. I hope the trip was worth it. You guys should set something up in Birmingham like Electronic Dojo for casuals or even tournaments.
