Well, Gunslinger Girls was only 13 episodes and it was slower than dead people fucking. Hell, the first 3 or 4 episodes was just the exact same shit over and over again from a slightly different perspective. Being short doesn't mean it's not slow or boring.

The length of the show has nothing to do with it. Sure if it was 26 eps of the exact style they had it would've been torture, but it being 12 or so doesn't matter. It's pacing isn't even moderate no matter who you are. You may be the kind of person who can find the violence alone so interesting that it doesn't matter, but that alone won't hold me.

also Gunslinger Girl is The Flash in comparison, and it's amazing too lol. But I agree that it's start wasn't the fastest thing around, but still amazing in comparison to this.

the violence wasn't what held me, I thought it was just a good story, though I admit, I only felt this way after watching/reading the whole thing. It was somewhat confusing.

The Fuko arc in Clannad was too good, episode 9 made me real sad though.

Conflicted on Nagisa. Don't really like her as a character but it didn't seem right when she was out of the group for a good number of episodes and not by Tomoya's side. Tomoyo/Tomoya could make for a real interesting couple though...

Fuko is one of Key's cutest and most awesome characters, but her story is also one of their most generic ones. I blame fuko for the horrible lack of tomoyo and kyou because they took too many episodes to kill off her ghost. Kotomi is still the cutest and most awesome, but I like tomoyo's story better than every arc but the after story arc (luckily getting a whole season more or less), so even though they couldn't do that much without destroying the plot, it would have been nice to see a lot more tomoyo.

As for Nagisa, I think I just liked her after she shut down Tomoya while eating anpan in the first episode. For some reason it's one of my Nagisa scenes along with that muffin scene in the last episode.

I seriously disliked Fuko, she wasn't the cutest, she wasn't the funniest, she didn't deserve the amount of screen tiem she had. That being said i still liked her, just not that much.

Fuko is a lot cuter in Key's official stuff, and you saw a glimpse of that in the last parts of After Story imo. But yeah, Fuko in the first season could have been handled a lot better, even though there were some really well done moments.

school days is terribly funny. i was laughing every episode at the sheer ridiculous actions the main character took. and it's not a comedy. take from that what you will.

I heard that makes you a bad, bad person, Madnis.

I can respect that.

ps. don't spoil it; people should go into that virgins. It's a really fun show.

pps. I heard that Needless has a really emotional ED that you should watch with your mom.

When I watched School Days, I remember just being really mad at how stupid the story was, until the last episode or two when the hilarity of the whole mess hit me like a brick wall.

School Days is utter SHIT. In every sense of the word. Nothing redeeming about it til the end, everything was stupid everything said was stupid, every angle of the fictional camera was stupid, the animation sucked, the music was fucking bad. The show would've been better if it was just screen shots of the backgrounds with pulling out EVERY character that had a word said in this show, with Benny Lava playing the entire time.

If you for some god awful reason start the show, you HAVE to finish it, because the ending of it was the only perfect ending in any anime, PERFECT ending. because by ep 5 or 6 you're going to be wishing for someone to kill themselves, hell by then the show made ME get up and exercise because I couldn't take it anymore.

Fuck Keitaro Motonaga for directing it, he can't direct. Akene-iro, Rayearth (OVA), Amaenaideyo!! Katsu!!, Princess Princess, Quiz magical Academy, Tayutama, Yumeria all these are just friggin bad and he needs to stop before someone punches him in the head.

I actually enjoyed Rayearth OVA. it wasn't as good as the show or the saturn game. (GOD BLESS YOU SATURN!!! SEGA!) but the OVA was still okay. it wasn't terrible. but it was enjoyable. and school days was comedy.. If only i could spoil shit.. wait a second... BY GOD!!

no. i'll be nice.

still. school days had me laughing. it was hilarious. and it wasn't intended to be funny but how could you not laugh at it? i mean the ridiculous actions.. HE BLANKED THE BLANKITY BLANK FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD!! how is that not funny?! blank that blank blank and all that jazz... too hilarious. and then she BLANKED him!!!! hahahahahahaha

page... i just caught that. people should go in as virgins. hahahahahahahaha. INDEED!

well I enjoyed the OVA myself, looked beautiful and it was probably the best of that bunch I just listed. But still he took a series that was good (and by the way he directed some of those episodes too, and DIDN'T ruin it) and then shot it to hell in comparison

I heard the new animation for Haruhi is hit or miss. I'll have to see just how that is.
Old quote, but I wanted to comment on this. The only difference in animation between first season and second season is that the faces of the girls are drawn differently. A friend of mine described it as having K-ON! faces. It's not much of a difference, but if you look closely you'll notice it.

S1 is top; S2 is bottom. The main difference is that the face is more narrow in general. The eyes also seem to be slanting inwards at the base of the eyes. I prefer the animation of the first season, but I didn't notice any differences until my friend pointed it out, so it really isn't that big of a deal.

Hmmm, differences don't seem that big as opposed to the whining I hear. I guess I'll see once KyoAni stops trolling the fandom and comes out with a really new episode.

Its not a change to cause an issue. It's not a downgrade in quality just a change in style, aka K-ON, i like how that sounds, because inf quite a few scenes Haruhi's face is identical to Mio's. But it isn't rally an issue since they look the same overall.
