You know what I hate...
Watching an anime finishing or getting half through it, to find out it's a manga that's ongoing. That's when I know I just wasted my time. I really wish some of these writers embraced..."wrap it up." Get to the end. Finish your story please and move on to something else.

Death Note seemed to do that but the ending was rushed and therefore was horrible. I mean the whole second season. It didn't have the thought that was put into the first season. that kid guessed everything without an explanation why and he just happen to be right all the time.

has anyone seen Minami-ke or Kamichu!

I heard that Minami-ke was really popular in Indiana but hear in California hardly anyone knows about it. and no one knows Kamichu!

Is Deathnote only subbed? Netflix on has it subbed and I like dubs much better.
it's dubbed. personally I like anime better when it's dubbed too but my overall decision is based on which i think is better. japanese dubbing is over exaggerating most of the time and that gets on my nerves. English is more chill and more realistic, most of the time, how the person would really speak in real life.

but try youtube or some anime sites. they should have a dubbed version of it.

VIZ dubs tend to be sub only for Netflix for some reason, kind of annoys me.

Minami-ke is hilarious, and then season 2 is sad, and season 3 is blah.
Kamichu is damn good.

I have NO issue with an anime being made out of a manga that's still going on. It can have a good anime only ending or the show can be amazing itself. I mean we wouldn't have the original Hunter X Hunter if they guy waited. And NOW we have the new one which is of course trash.

Lol thanks, we feel the exact same way.

so Minami-ke gets more disappointing with each season? I really liked season 1. and like you said season 2 was whatever. I haven't seen season 3 yet. I didn't know they had one out.

can anyone tell me about season 3 of school rumble? not storyline wise but if it has come out yet.

There is no season 3 of School Rumble and I doubt there will be. Been a long time since I saw the anime but I remember the ending in the manga sucks hard (the whole last volume or two for that matter is a mess).

The best thing about school rumble is that it ends. And goes down in my memory as one of those great anime/manga things. More works should go down in my memory...I might die before berserk gets done...but at least it's good enough for me to wait. Most other stuff out there should hurry it up.

Biggest issue I have is that I lose interest, there so many other forms of story telling I follow.

Animefreak is correct about Minami-ke. Don't even bother with series 2. They change the format, change the studio, change the character design, and it's all around weak and not worth it. Series 3 goes back to the original format and similar art, but has the same problems as series 1, which is that it drags in the middle. Also doesn't have enough Hosaka.

I'm also firmly in the camp that School Rumble ended the best way it could. The love triangles were never the point, so finding out exactly who ended up with who would have killed everything anyway. All the tension would be gone, and the driving force for like 90% of all the characters actions would disappear. However, dragging that stuff out for another full series would have probably have been terrible anyway. By the end of the second series it seemed pretty obvious that they were running out of treadmill, and they had already begun picking off characters.

Has anyone watched Shuffle before? I'm close to being done, but I do not understand why it's tv-ma. So far they've shown boobs in a shirt and maybe a thing or two.

I really liked Shuffle. I'm not one to get annoyed by the overbearing cliches in the show because I actually liked the characters. (For those who don't know I have an awful taste in anime because apparently Lamune was bad...lol)

Also yea there are occasions where you see more than just boobs...lol.

Shuffle! usually comes to mind when I think of the worst anime I have ever seen. Not the absolute worst, since I'm pretty sure a lot of the anime I drop at the third episode are probably worse than it. And I can't really say it's worse than Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl either.

But carry on. There was a time when I was able to tolerate stuff like this, and I must have enjoyed Shuffle for a while to have finished it. One thing I do like about Shuffle is the melody of the original game's OP, but that wasn't part of the anime either.

I know what you mean by Kashimashi. I don't know why I even picked it up. (well it was free) but even from the get go it seemed kind of lame yet, "a boy turning to a girl? I gotta see this." came to mind. but it was a let down. Last Exile was a let down for endings too. It was a really good anime though. the ending was just rushed and anti climatic.

Shuffle is good, especially for a harem title. I own, have the panties and have them signed by half the english cast. The characters, albeit all straight and distinguished stereotypes, all have a twist that fucks em up. And the ending for it was awesome, one of the best endings for a harem period, as it not only ended WITH A CHOICE, it wasn't one of the two MAIN main girls. Add high quality animation, decent humor and MAGIC and you've got a show
Also, boobs.

Last Exile has the new one coming, so i cannot wait, loved the original show, ending or not, and cant wait for the next.

I own Kashimashi too...... ewwwww

Lamune is ass, like in almost every way that ass can be named.

Currently I am reading The World God Only Knows...Which I never do. If I watch the anime first I don't read the manga and vice versa. However, reading it got me thinking about love. Although, what main protagonist does is kind out there (pimping and all), it has some validity to it. So it really makes me question what the hell is love?

I enjoy romance like the next person, but logically I know this stuff is a joke. People are fickle, just as easily as you fall for someone you can easily lose interest. And maybe it's the circumstance that bring you together, and how they change overtime...as certain goals are either met or not met...determining the eventual outcome of relationships.

So what do you guys think about love? Is there such a thing as true love? IMO heck no. But what's your take on it?
