Official SCV Stage Discussion

A graveyard, tomb and castle roof-top. Perhaps a stage in a village like in tekken?

Netherlands (Dutch Republic) - non-RO stage
Dutch+windmill+and+tulips.jpg

Red Square (St. Basil's Cathedral), Moscow - possible non-RO stage

Flores Island, Azores, Portugal - If the river isn't too deep, fighters can also use it as walking ground.
Also, Europe was expanding west, so could this be a start?

Ziggurat of Ur, Iraq - The battle takes place at the top, possible RO stage. Could be better when set at night, with torches lit.

Abbey Ruins, England - would look fantastically beautiful in the nighttime, with a full moon
inside-the-ruins-of-the.jpg

Banaue Rice Terraces, Ifugao Province, Philippines - ROs would introduce lower levels, and characters take damage as they are knocked down to lower levels (not to characters who simply jump down to continue fighting xD).

Imperial Capital Ayutthaya from Soulcalibur II. That has to be my favorite stage ever. The atmosphere, the music, the wall hits, the lack of ring outs... it's perfect.

I want that Ostrheinsburg Chapel back!!! Not that raft floating on the water...
Well, as for un-used areas I'd like to see a stage near or in Parthenon, or in a huge gothic Church, or in a graveyard, etc...

I want a proper Korean stage. The Old Temple and the Seong Dojo from Soul Blade as well as Hwangseo Palace from SC II were great.

Screw the fantasy based stages. I want everything to be based on real world locations. It's the stage of history, not the stage of another lame fantasy.

How are these for possible Korean stages? Take your pick. xD
Geunjeongmun Gate and Yeongjegyo Bridge

Gyeonghoeru Pavilion (Royal Banquet Hall)

Hwangwonjeong Pavilion

Personally, I like the royal banquet hall. The battle could start at the top, characters can get ROed to the bottom level after being flung above or through the wall or crashing through the floor. Then a true RO (meaning the round ends) can occur if a character is knocked into the water.

These are all great choices. I guess my favorite would be Geunjeongmun Gate and Yeongjegyo Bridge. Wall combos and wall jumps please. =)

The Royal Banquet Hall and the Hwangwonjeong Pavillion would be good RO stages more than likely. They both would be gorgeous too.

I like stages based on a bridge of some sort (shaped like a rectangle, with low walls on the longer sides). Too bad that dampierre BD stage never came to console

OMG, the Voiceless Volpe Bridge was my FAVORITE, along with the orchestra and accordion music that accompanied it. Maybe we will see this stage or something similar to it in SCV. :)

I would like to see Ivy's Stage from SCII. Could someone remind me what it was called?

1600's the new world was long discovered. I think we should have some of the beauties of our side of the world;
Mayan's pyramids

For the old world I think:
The Forbidden City:

Zeus' Temple (Although I think it was in ruins by that time period):

OMG, the Caño Cristales is gorgeous. We could introduce a cross-shaped stage: meaning that there are 4 different places within the stage to RO and there are two pathways that intersect into the center of the stage.

Patroklos driven by anger of his mother's unfortunate fate despite her devotion to the gods, led him to the temple of the gods floating in the skies

big2zy8.jpg

there he fought against gods' crowned hero, siegfried.
battle location: temple of the gods
battle music: Final Trial

on behalf of his relentless battle with the hero of the gods, they gave him an opportunity to once again reclaim his mother's life. in limited time, he must venture to the depths of hades, to the elysian fields that lies beyond it.

upon entering the underworld just after he crossed lethe river, a gigantic hellish golem approach him who smelled alive. the golem turned out to be astaroth, more powerful than any other of his previous incarnation, due to him devouring souls that tried to escape from hell's gate. the unavoidable battle began in lethe's shore.

battle music: Fight
information about lethe: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lethe

for the one who was favored by the gods, the hellish golem was nothing but a minor obstacle on his unstoppable path.

patroklos continued on his journey and reached the place where only the pure hearted may set foot on, the elysian fields. there he found his mother, definitely well and seemingly alive. it turned out that the gods could not bear to see sophitia suffered, they sealed her memories and hid her in elysian, not even soul edge's curse can reach her here. with her memories sealed, the gods saved her from the tears she would shed for being apart from her loved ones, rothion and her children.

unfortunately, this did not make things easy for patroklos to bring her back. despite his long explanation, she only saw the boy as an intruder in elysian fields, and she readied her sword and shield. with the very limited time that he had, patroklos knew that he must exhaust her in some way to make her listen to him. he hesitantly lifted up his sword to the air and his heart ached with every blow he dealt to his beloved mother.

battle location: elysium
battle music: Awake (Mezame)
information about elysium: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elysian

exchanging blows with her son, sophitia recalled her memories of her past battle, although little by little. she suddenly stopped swinging her sword once she remembered the sole reason of her fighting back then, her loving family. patroklos sheated his sword inside his shield and told sophitia that the two of them must leave the place soon, for the gods can only bend the cosmic rules for a limited time. with her family in mind, the elysian field which any mortal men strife so hard to get into, seemed meaningless before her eyes. patroklos grabbed her mother's wrist and ran with her to once again reunite with their family.

with the absence of sunlight in hades, their escape was only being guided by fireflies that illuminate the narrow pathway. on their way, sophitia felt a presence, an evil presence that she once felt long time ago. after trying hard to remember, her usual loving face turned to hate. patroklos asked her about it. ignoring his son, she attacked the figure in the shadows that had been following them. sophitia knew perfectly well about this evil woman since this woman was the one who brought misfortunes to her family.

asking patroklos to step aside, she delivered blows after blows to tira

battle music: Gods Bound by Rules

what is tira compared to the power of sophitia? did not want to repeat her mistake by letting tira alive, this time sophitia put an end to tira with her Angel Strike.

ending: they were back home, sophitia baked breads for her children, a treat that's been long overdue, the house was filled with smiles and laughters..

*Sophitia is now unlocked*
