Let me rephrase my answer...

The reason why you don't know me is because you play online. Maybe if you stop trolling around in the online forums you would know who i am. I've been around since SC2 (the scrub days).

Hopefully...that strokes your curiosity...
 
LOL Hilde should be allowed anywhere picking stages that makes no sense. Does Hilde take the fun out of the game? Allowed on certain stages yeah right that's just like telling hilde players too learn another char.

Not that I'm for or against restricted stage selection, but comparing the use of a different stage to learning a new character is rather baseless. The same fight with a few walls =/= OMG HOW I USE CHAR?
 
I thought this thread was supposed to be about community.

Now we're still arguing about Tiers and online and how SU sucks shyt.

Step 1: Can we please just restrict Hilde to certain stages?? Then we don't have to single out Hilde players.

Step 2: Can we decide some format for an EAST/WEST NATS to be run at GAMME AND DEV

Step 3: Lets REALLY start planning ahead for SCV
 
Stage restrictions are as dumb as MANUAL STAGE SELECTION.

Hilde and Algol are banned from tournaments.

I got to say this is the most entertaining thread since the team USA thread that blew up.

I always thought stage restriction would have been a good idea but to my knowledge it was never tried. But either way if there can be no midle ground banning Hilde is better than fighting her with random stage select. Despite what people want to say ringing out from way accross the stage is broke(even if it can be dealt with to an extent). I do however enjoy taking on the challenge of defeating Hilde(kind of like a fun in game thing like fighting night terror in SC3) just not for a tournament.

But on SU's original point, I intend to try to go to GAMME but it will depend on how much I can commit to improving in the game between now and then and if my personal life is not too busy.

On that note I leave this thread saying ur welcome IdleMind. My controversial behavior has spurred more interest in GAMME for SC. That u cannot argue :) Besides that 1. Those who support the bans and cry about Hilde I stand by the ur weak as a competitor statement regardless of who u are (hate me more). 2. If u stand by it doesn't matter, its a whatever much respect to u as a competitor as no one can knock u for it. 3. If u oppose the bans for integrity and principle much much respect to u as a competitor (we are in the same boat).

Other than that much respect to u all in real life as my opinions about the quality of most of u are different. Don't misinterpret as this and real life are 2 different worlds to me and I respect everyone as long as they respect me.

If I joined the thread i wouldn't be adding anything new. Everyone knows how i feel about the subject so I've decided not to even post really. I agree with SU, and if she does end up banned in most places then I just won't be visiting most places. Simple as that.

Side Notes: Did u know that Kilik was considered garbage until I started getting good with him even when Wing-Zero was winning and placing well with him. Did u know no one besides me and Wing-Zero has replicated wins with him.

Did u know that Kilik is about 97% the same character he was in SC3 minus the change in Asura countering mids (It still had all the other properties such as tech jumps and the same damage). His aB is nerfed in SC4. FotD did more damage in SC3 and still had good ringout range. In fact 1B and the property change in Asura countering mids is the only buffs he received.

This equates to people just complain about who is next in line. Kilik was considered trash mid in SC3 and mid in this game. Something to think about.
 
I never thought kilik was bad in this game personally. In SC3 i considered him somewhere in the bottom of the top 8 (upper midish).

Its funny how you took offense when i said no offense. Since youve been around since SC2 how many tourneys did you win. When I say NO OFFENSE that means I don't want to start online drama. SU answered respectfully and I had a feeling you wouldn't because you started out being a smart ass too babalook. So truthfully I'm not surprised. I guess I came to this thread because I want to go to one of Rigels tourneys and hopefully G.A.A.M.E or EVO. So might as well find out who the community is. I guess the offline community is just as disrespectful as some of the online community. Or is that just you.

thanks Dogg. I was hoping to hear at least one other person mention DEV. If it weren't for you, Robb, and the others I would have never had a chance to compete. I think the SC community in general just never had the opportunity to rely on other big outlets such as EVO for annual support. The community is just too scattered for that. For the most part we rely on self support and in my experience that is how it's always been. It's not like worrying about whether or not we're at EVO is anything new or major. We just go about our business as usual.
