SC5 Weapon Ideas (JOKE WEAPONS INCLUDED)

I have to second the idea of a war fan-based character. Although I have a hard time picturing what their AA and BB would look like. A majority (up until SC3 and 4) of characters use slashing weapons with very real horizontal and vertical attacks. Only Hilde and later Raphael have ever had BBs that were stabs rather than slashes.
 
What about an intergration of both a sword and a mace? [Bar Mace]

Hmm... Dashi Odashima singled out Salia Olschmidt by name when she appeared in that sketch a bit back while the other Schwarzwind members with her were just IDed as "Schwarzwind" (admittedly, it's possible that she is the only one with a name).

If this SC1 concept art is of her, she would be a Bastard Sword/long sword user if appearing.

They can't make use wait for it for years and give it to a female
Do not want create a CaS Bastard Sword badass european warrior full of iron and scars to see him kick like a pussy or spread gayness with his female winning pose.

Male moveset = Great for Male CaS, Great for Female CaS (if you want her with tough attitude)
Female moveset = Great for Female CaS, epic gay fail for Male CaS. Even the most tough female moveset at some point show female attitude and kill the overall feeling. Maybe i can save Taki's,but that's all

Sound sexist? Do not care is the reason because people recycle ever and ever and ever the same 4-5 moveset for theyr CaS. Don't like Patroklos chara design,absolutely not. But at least now sword&shield is possible

What about Hilde? She's to "feminine"? Why can Namco just make a hardened female character? It's not like it's never happened before.

Yes even (i like her style a lot,probably my fav female style) Hilde
Her standing pose
Her way to walk
Her kicks
There is something wrong when you put her style on a male char,specially if he's a massive one
 
There are traces of it in Cervy's style so how about totally fleshing out an eskrima/kali character?
 
yeah cerventes (being the pirate archetype) .. may return with a cutlass.. or a giant anchor :)
 
Thats a bit sexist, there is not a single women in soul calibur with a realistic weapon aside from sophitia, the men need weirder weapons and the women need some serious ones.
 
Xianghua is far from realistic. And nightmare siegried and voldo are all using real weapons, unlike tira and ivy.

Amy is a little more realistic as well, but the men in the series are already far more realistic.
 
I mean in terms of serious use, and weaponry, I.E Mitsurugi,

Cassandra and Xianghua both do moves that wouldn't even damage a person let alone knock them off their feet/ knock them out, I.E asws attacks and crying on the floor. Hilde, sophitia, and amy are the only realistic females where as the males have mitsu raph seig kilik and maxi.
