Okay, hopefully this will explain it.
If you input 22_88 [ B ] then B almost if not immediately, a 1 hit follow-up will happen after the launcher no matter what. That takes two inputs out of the equation.
After that 1 hit follow-up, time the second B as soon as Ivy's whip is directly in front of her. This is the trickiest part of landing the JF consistently.
After that second B, just input the rest of the command based on a beat (that you'll have to find in training mode for yourselves without an audio-visual), not on what you see on the screen. That's what I meant by inputting it straight. The timing doesn't exactly follow Ivy's whip; the inputs are faster -- in fact, if you're doing it right, you'll find that the last JF comes a complete beat before the animation for the guard break comes out.
