and his age,23-27.

But "long sword" (or "bastard",or "one and half hand", or "great" sword, is ever the same weapon) is typical for europeans,not for arabians
Arabians are ever been for curved blades,like scimitar,yatagan,shamshir and so on

Imho see an arabian with longsword will be strange as see a chinese warrior with a katana

For this i just remember that as Sword+dagger character in Pilgrim Yager there was Giovanni De Medici (real historical character,know also as Giovanni of the Black Bands)

Make him a brawler,powerfull but not a giant like Asta/Rock (bust still bigger than average).
Not a complete armor,maybe made of hard leather and iron.
Oh,reddish hairs is mandatory

-An arabian warrior with scimitar, no middle east is a big lack in SC history.
Give him a turban,give him that fucking evil-villain-90's-movie little beard, make him fast,elegant and deadly.

These two are the ones I want to see most.

-A Zulu warrior! Big ass wood shield and a spear. Make him tall as Asta but slim.
Make his rythm frenetic and unpredictable. Maybe some Capoeira kicks/rythm too (Capoeira is born from slaves in Brazil,but the origin is from ancient african tribal dance.

-An Atzec with theyr typical obsidian "sword-mace".
Maybe a "Jaguar Warrior" or an "Eagle Warrior",the elite, basically was theyr version of our "knights"

I like this but I'd take it a step further. I'd like to see Voldo replaced with an Indian character who takes the flexible creepy factor to a new level with Yoga and Kama Sutra inspired stances and attacks.

-An heavy armored european kight,maybe a fat-ass (SC never got a fat-ass :D) with an huge flail,all based on follow the flow... as gameplay imagine him as a epic powerfull but slow fat ass Maxi :D

A heavy flail would be a nice choice if paired with a shield. I don't think Maxi-like "flow" should be a part of his gameplay. Perhaps something more like Ivy's SC2 whip spin stances.

-Male ninja,with kusarigama. Because.. well because ninja are ever badass :D

I wouldn't mind this, a three-sectioned staff, or a nodachi but I'd rather we got more Western fighters before something like this.

First thing that came to mind when I heard time skip.

1- please Namco put in some "normal" (no demon/vampire/golem/lizard/zombie-ghost/wierdo) western warriors, is not like a not asian need to be a fantasy monster to stab people :D

2- please no more blond europeans... Sieg, Raph, Setsuka, Sophi, Cass, Pat, Pyrrah, Arthur, is not like you have to be blond to be european :D

3- I know you namco guys are going to introduce A LOT of young teen flashy noobs as "new generation", but please introduce a lot of grow-uptough bastard veteran too!

i dug OOFMATIC's idea for drunken style Dampierre and I want a Thai fighter with twin daabs (think Tony Jaa with swords).

I love this idea. I have a few changes for it, though like:

• Instead of a tall guy, make it a woman around the height of Ivy, or a little shorter [also make her have an Nyce ass instead of huge boobs...but that's just my preference]
• Instead of just a Zulu warrior, Make her a Queen of a dyin' tribe. The tribe could be dyin' off from famine, or bein' taken by crusaders, both could be used as a reason to journey for "the sword."
• A big shield and spear are a good idea, but I don't know how that would work out with Capoeira. So some suggestions for her weapons would be two huntin' knives, or a small battle axe:

All in all, an African warrior is a cool idea.

I have a hard time believing these saw much battle. They look extremely unbalanced and clunky for throwing, and they seem like they'd be particularly unwieldy in close combat - you'd expel quite a bit more effort not to injure yourself than you would just fighting your opponent, and they give no advantage over similar short bladed weapons. As far as I'm finding on google, it seems that they were used mostly as a form of currency, and not for actual fighting.

Though they might look cool dual-wielded in Soulcalibur, which is probably all that really matters. Besides, it's not like we can claim to have historical accuracy in this series, what with Siegfried, Astaroth, Tira, and Zasalamel running around - and those weapons aren't even "supernatural".

At this point give ma a crazy and hot indian woman with that creepy style (she sound like TK's Zafina),maybe with heavy inspired goddess Kali appearance :D

But i've the feeling that Voldo is one of the most probable to stay even with the 17 years jump,he seem fit with the crazy old gollum type of character that he will be at 70 years old

We can easily go through the entire game and say that plenty of characters resemble other characters.
Mitsurugi > Haohmaru > Musashi
Siegfried > Guts
etc.

As long as Namco puts a cool spin on it it works. Just as Italy should be represented by rapier + dagger in your mind (which I agree with), katar should represented by someone Indian. Voldo's general style (creepy + flexible) isn't hard to imitate when you consider the weapon's country of origin. Oh, and I don't think anyone in games is using the Kama Sutra positions to deal damage, but I could be wrong.

This, or an actual ottoman, not a greek with a gladius or an iranian golem with a huge axe. A yatagan sword works for that Idea.

This really should've been in far earlier. Though I must note that the german and spanish schools also had incredible weapon masters in the rapier as well. Though if Raphael makes it back in, he should really get some Cape moves. :P

Indeed, we need a fatass. If Maxi returns, I hope he will be the fat guy, but if he doesn't, a fat noble in armor with a flail certainly works- give him a noble outfit as a second costume.

I would love if he was swedish, but if so I'd prefer the Light Axe moveset- the vikings(though outdated) had twohanded axes weighing less than 2 pounds, but which where still strong enough to puncture armor and cleave limbs. Those axes used a lot of hooking and trapping, which would make for a very interesting moveset. It would be a fast dynamic moveset with a lot of attack throws... Note that this can be done with both one or two-handed axes.

I just hope the fat guy doesn't get the joke character treatment.
