SCV Videos From SCR 2011 By TagYouRPregnant

TagYouRPregnant has been working hard to provide us with videos from the latest public build of Soulcalibur V which is being played this weekend at SoCal Regionals 2011. The videos show off the four newest characters to be revealed (Xiba, Aeon, Yoshimitsu, Cervantes), along with the second player outfits for the new and existing characters.

Also, tune in tonight at 8PM Eastern/5PM Pacific where Soulcalibur V will be streamed live from SoCal Regionals on Twitch TV, courtesy of Level Up Live and Namco Bandai Games.

Tag's a big girl, i think she can handle some streamtrash comments. Posting about them on a message board isn't going to change moron gamers who suck at every aspect of life, from taking out their frustrations facelessly online.

Real talk- I hope that Hilde that Tag filmed like 800 times wasn't Cedric, because that was some weak ass lameplay. Just sayin.

I don't get the problem with the stream chat.

Of course, it was immature, full of racial insults, gay and fat people bashing, random trolling, and was basically juste people being rude to everyone, including themselves but erm...

It was freaking fun watching it. Those guys are idiots, that's for sure, but then, every single person who's making a fuss about that is just too damn uptight and boring.

Tag, or anyone who would know, if you're reading this, can you confirm that the Tira AA/BB series is really slower in GS vs JS? I'm a bit surprised if its true, but the animation clearly suggests it.

It would be a huge difference between the two stances that I'm surprised they would make. Then again, guard damage may be a difference too.

Vids of this game tend to look slower than the actual game when you play it, from what I've noticed.

I was hoping for some big changes to Cervy, but as it is now I'll probably just move on to new characters. I've been playin dude for too long, I want something fresh lol. At least they gave him his old 1aB unblockable back, along with old school 2a+b. b2 in juggles still looks weak as shit.
of course it will look slower, that iphone 4's camara can only handle 30fps when fighting games run at 60fps

Her AA and BB felt no slower to me in either Mood, though now that you mention it, I did have trouble punishing simple things with BB in Gloomy. Who knows what the final product will be, but it'd be a really bizarre move to have her BB be worse in GS than JS... so I doubt it's true. (unless the GS version has properties that went unnoticed like better on guard or significant damage increases)

Not a lot of people were playing Ivy actually, not even Noface, majority of the time, lol.

I just finished uploading the last of the recordings that I did for tonight, I hope you all enjoyed it! :)
Thanks for the vids, but damn, not a lot of people were playing as her? :P

Once again, we're all in your debt. Thank you.
It's no trouble at all! I know what it's like to be on the other side...anxious of seeing the new hype! So I definitely did my best to get ya'll as much footage as I possibly could! :)

To my surprise, no.
There was A LOT of Tira action as well as everyone else besides Ivy, idk why.
I also didn't take much video today because I wanted to play too. :3

OK actually I want to know how you do 8WR moves quickly without quickstepping. This really screwed up my game. Do I have to get in 8WR state first? As in 6632 for 22 moves?

This is intentional, their stated design logic was that 8WR moves are generally stronger than most moves, so they now take a couple extra frames to do from standing.

FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU I need to play again already. Game is TOO GOOD

Indeed. :)

It was nice meeting you and others in the community.

I kinda wish a group of us could have gone and eat somewhere and get to know each other, but many felt pretty distant.

This is very different from another community I associate myself with.
