Setsuka's b+k

I am a new Setsuka and I am pretty good at doing a few of her just frames but there are two moves i can't the timing for: her b+k three part move and her 1aaa. I kinda have the 1aaa down a bit until i get to the third a. I would also really like someone to tell me how to do her b+k three part move, I know the inputs for the b+k but i would like to know if anyone has an easy way of doing this move. Thanks.

It's really no trick to doing the B+K series. You can do the last double input in either direction, though. <_<

Other than that, I guess you can do a triple input for the third hit instead of a double if your rhythm isn't down.
 
I am a total setsuka nublet and a complete scrub. I plan to either make her my secondary or main.... I main Astaroth.... big dif lol
. All day I have been practicing her moves and her JFs... I got her 1 A: A :A down I got the 1B:B down and finally I got the 2143B:B down

now the ones I can do is the 2143AB I am not sure if its 2143aB or 214236aB (I can get the umbrella to come out either way.) what i have found to be the easiest way to practice it is first you need to be able to do the regular umbrella constitantly from both sides. next its real simple

go to training . Counter setting:attack. now your ready.

6k 2143aB/214236aB

you must do the umbrella immediately the only way its gonna work is in just version.... if you happen to get the regular umbrella you waited to long to even attemp the umbrella.... typically you will get the 2143B to come out if you fail.....

its the quickest way to practice and lets you know how you are on the timing. once you get consistent doing it both ways stop doing 6k. just do the umbrella attack...


now heres a question how do you pull of the JF version of AgB ? I have only pulled it off after I launched someone with AgB... please explain it simply I m very bad with technical terms and stuff *awkward laugh*
 
Just set one of your shoulder buttons to a combination with B (I use B+K). Next, slide agB+K as fast as possible, but smoothly. You should get it down rather quickly.
 
I really don't believe Sets is a good character to start out with at all. Honestly, it's hard to realize her strengths without understanding other character's weaknesses. And, not only that, but you REALLY have to play your opponent with her if they understand Sets as she really doesn't have any gimmicky moves and, on top of that, her best ones can be countered rather easily so long as your opponent knows what they should be worrying about. On the plus sides, she's one of the only characters who can either make your opponent duck OR not duck because they know her options.
 
Can these combos be possible? OR Are these moves combos?
- 11_77B, a:gB, 214~3a:B
- CH 4A, a:gB, a:gB, 214~3a:B
 
I think CH 4A~ag:B don´t work correctly, it randonmly whifs... and the second ag:B must be perfectly buffered for 2143a:B connect.

Not quite sure if this is exactly the correct place to ask this, but i have questions and i'm hoping someone has answers!

Basically i'm struggling quite a bit in getting the umbrella to connect after her 214B+G throw. I'm "reasonably" good at the umbrella from standing but i cant pull this off to save my life. What i'm curious about is at what point in the 214B+G animation should i start inputting the 2143aB?

I've been trying to perform it right at the end of the animation, but the umbrella always fails to connect, JF or not, which leads me to believe i'm doing it too slowly.

Can someone also confirm that the 214B+G has a smaller break window than her B+G throw too? I thought this was the case but im not entirely sure.

Well I think you should perform the umbrella when Setsuka hit with the last slash of the sword, the umbrella should come before she draws her blade.

To ask for the umbrella technique beter ask Doc! he has incredible succesfull rate of the JF umbrella, I can only tell you when you have to buffered it, because I only can do it in JF buffered :(
