Siegfried Combo and Tech Trap Discussion

Travaton, thanks for that stuff. I guess I will have to re-think my way of handling sieg in SC V as it clearly must be different than in SC IV.

My favorite combo I've found so far is 3>W!>SCH B>3>SCH K A+B+K>236236 A+B+K. 183 damage. Only problem is if you don't time the second 3 right it goes through the opponent. So you have to do the second 3 without any delays. Other than that and it costing 150% meter, it's pretty awesome. Tested on Pyrrha & Astaroth.
When you say 3 are you referring to 3B?

So you have to do the second 3 without any delays. Other than that and it costing 150% meter, it's pretty awesome. Tested on Pyrrha & Astaroth.
I can't seem to get this to hit... Is it a tech trap? Or is there something I'm missing?

Not a tech trap, I put the teching on random and the aerial control too. The 3B just whiffs sometimes, it literally will clip through their leg. I have it set to Action 1: Stand, Action 2: Block All also. The timing for the 2nd 3B is just extremely strict.
EDIT: Just retested just to make sure. Tested left and right ukemi. Hits all tech directions. If they don't tech you can't hit with the SCH K A+B+K. So it is indeed a tech trap. I can't believe I missed that detail.

Ok, here are some tech trap combos I found. (Feel free to correct me if I am wrong ^^)

1) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH A ~ 3B = 92 damage (Be careful with the timing on SBH A and keep in mind that it may whiff)
2) 4[A] ~SRSH [K] ~SBH K BE = 79 damage
3) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH B = 69 damage (if you get SBH B Clean Hit -> 76 damage)

(For these techs be careful with SBH B's timing to launch the opponent)
4) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH B ~ 3B = 82 damage
5) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH B ~ 66K = 90 damage when you land 66K while the opponent is on the air / 101 damage if you hit him when he has touched the ground while landing
6) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH B ~ 6A = 91 damage
7) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH B ~ AA = 109 damage
8) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH B ~ agA = 99 damage in the air / 109 damage if the opponent hits the ground
9) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH B ~ iagA = 117 damage if the opponent has hit the ground first
10)....
i) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH B ~ 66B = 117 if you hit your opponent's back / 119 damage if you hit his chest
ii) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH B (clean hit) ~ 66B = 127 damage if you hit his back / possibly + 2 if you hit his chest (needs to be checked)
iii) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH B ~ 66B (clean hit) = 126 if you hit your opponent's back / 128 damage if you hit his chest
iv) 4[A] ~ SRSH [K] ~ SBH B (clean hit) ~ 66B (clean hit) = 136 damage (That varies for +2 or -2 damage depending on where you hit your opponent)

11) 4 [A] ~ SRSH B ~ 3B = 73 damage
12) 4[A] ~ SRSH B ~ 22_88 BB = 96 damage
13) 4[A] ~ SRSH B ~ 1K = 63 damage

(For these techs be careful with 3{B}'s timing to launch your opponent a bit)
14) 4[A] ~ SRSH B ~ 3{B} ~ SCH K = 91 damage
15) 4[A] ~ SRSH B ~ 3 {B} ~ SCH K BE = 125 damage
16) 4[A] ~ SRSH B ~ 6B = 93 damage ( Do 6B as soon as your rival is about to wake up)

(The combo is linked if you are kinda close to the opponent when doing 66A)
17) 66A ~ 2[A+B] ~ SBH K = 94 damage
18) 66A ~ 2[A+B] ~ SBH K BE = 135 damage

19) b4 ~ 3B ~ SCH K = 88 damage

PS. I'm sorry if you don't understand any of the explanations... Well, I'll find more and re-test those again and add more information sometime hopefully. Also there's a slight chance I've made a mistake in copying those from my notebook lol.

When i tried that combo it didnt connect on mitsurugi. Char specific or just me? :P
Im doing similar wall combos and doesnt the CE in the end do sth like 3 dmg because of the scale? :P

I wish I could record it, I tried it on Pyrrha and Astaroth. And I recently did some more testing and it's a tech trap that hits all tech. I'll try it on Mitsu too.
Edit: Works on Mitsu

Was actually talking about SBH B into 8B+K, SCH kA+B+K.
I was sure that your combo would be a tech trap rather than a combo :P
SCH B>3{B}>SCH K A+B+K that part cant really happen unfortunatelly

Oh lol, my bad. But SCH B>8B+K>SCH kA+B+K does work, it's just kind of annoying along with tight timing. Also I'm never going to forget to test a combo for non tech trap ever again, at least I found a damaging tech trap. Lol

You always have to use the SCH transition to Siegs left, otherwise it won't connect. I tested it on Pyrrha and Natsu, so I'm sure it should connect on Mitsu as well. Will test again later on.

may i see a video of this working? i cannot recreate this

SCH B ~ 2A+B SBH kA+B+K - 102-142dmg. right techable. more damage if they tech

all i am able to get after SCH B is 2A+B 2A+B , which basically is me mashing it, but i cant go into stance after that if i hit it more than once. and when that hits it does 79-81 dmg
