Sophie's juggles/combos/なになに

The issue though is that in a wall combo, tacking on moves that have a large number of hits tends to prorate your damage to heck 236236B is probably going to be the reliable ender here too for that reason.

On the subject of W!, 9A gives you grabs on wallsplat, it might be an ok set up for other things too.

that was, unfortunately, part of the reason why i never tested too much. let's face it: soph is a direct damage character. she wasn't built for lengthy stun combos (cervy, taki), just-frame combo's (voldo), or wall craziness (yoshi). hell, she barely does mixups well. any juggle you find with her is probably a pain in the ass to do consistantly, and can probably just be replaced with a well-timed 236b_236236b.

she's like a "be careful: i don't need outside of 7 moves to whoop you." at this point, my game revolves around good defense, spacing (for 236236b tip stun abuse), and being all-around boring. i wish they would have toned some of her damage down, but given her more set-up oriented moves. that would make her interesting to play.

I think the most damaging after the 2nd wall hit would be 66B+KAB,236236B or B2BBB236B since people can get that off after 66B, but i think they can block and it's harder for B2BBB to reach the distance.

BT B+K is shakeable. It guarantees nothing. It also gives the shake-stun on hit. You are talking about BT B+K right?

B2BBB236B Combos after 66B (or forward forward Y or triangle) if you step forward after launching.

Yep it's been posted. You have to JF the B2 series and hit the opponent the same frame they contact the ground.

66A+B into 66B is a combo, even if they try and tech. Good 67 dmg for little effort heh.

Edit: Also, after a blocked 22_88 236: B:4 is guarnteed. Not sure if thats in here somewhere. (needs the JF version of 236B)

Who did you test 66A+B 66B on? I've always been able to tech out, but maybe some characters can't?

On a similar note Ramon showed me the other day that CH 4AB/22A 1A will ground hit/tech trap on Amy since she doesn't tech very far. Don't know how many this works on. Doesn't seem like too much of the cast though.

I'll have to try the JF stab one, that sounds interesting.

I'm fairly sure Sophie can tech out to 66B's weak side and otherwise can't. You can get something goofy and not all that worthwhile to cover the tech to that one side I believe, wrote it down in the tech trap thread but I feel lazy right now.

/edit/ or not. I must've never found anything that covered that side. Was thinking about AS K > 66A tech trap.

It's all good. That makes me think though, have you tried it on asta or NM? If they can tech it probably anyone can, but who knows?

You aren't spaced far enough away then. Try in training mode (after resetting positions). That's about the distance you need to be.

Well it always creates the same stun, what matters is whether or not she has to pull the sword out. Also she says Gomen Nasai in Japanese, if it helps.

yea that actually would help i play with my settings in japanese. watashi wa nihon suki desu.

A couple character specific ones, credit to Ramon:
Against Amy CH 4AB / 4[A]B 1A does 4-5 more damage than 1K if they stay down and an additional 10 + tech trap set-up if they try to get up.

Against large characters (asta. NM, etc) 66K > 66A+B
Why would you do this? Well it's easier than 66K > TAS B execution wise, pushes them back further and you can pressure a bit better off of it.
