I dunno, really. There is a possibility that those implications over Raph=Night are true. But, as I see it:Why choose Raphael over a random CaS face? Or at least change his face a bit (and also another haircut)...
Also, why would Nightmare's new voice actor be the same as Raphael's? And why would they say during interviews that Nightmare's bat theme has a reason? Too many coincidences just to be a rushed character using a random mesh.
1) Why Raph? - Most fitting body type, I guess.
1.2)Why not Seig then? - To make it clear that it's not him this time - we've seen him in role of Night for far too long to ignore how much alike/not they are.
2) Face. - You cannot just "do another face" - you need to create a design for it and then model it, which takes some time and we don't have any.
2.2) Face/hair/eyes - We have mask and helmet - you're not supposed to see those parts of his body anyway, so whatever.
3) Voice actor - money and time restrictions again, let's just "distort" his voice and Night is ready.
4) Adjusting minor visual differences (eyes, mask, even arm) and adjusting technical parameters (hitboxes) - are different things, as the last one needs testing, a lot of it.No, we are saying that there is a good reason why they used specifically Raphael's model to make Nightmare, and not just copied a random CaS model to put in it. And before you say that CaS models had problems with hitboxes, and blah blah blah, they adjusted somethings in Nightmare's model (like his arm, eyes and mask), so adjusting hitboxes wouldn't be a problem.
Another thing I wanted to ask, what do you guys think about the NPCs from SCIV? You know, those that appeared a hell lot in Story Mode? Is any of them worth adding as their own character?
