So additional story content shouldn't be DLC? Why? Look at The Witcher 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. both had amazing story DLC.

Story that not everyone will have access to, missing important parts of the game. Do you actually think its good? People are not supposed to pay for things that should be in the game from the start, its like selling an update. If I buy the game, I buy it for the whole story, not for an incomplete one.

When the DLCs are ready before the game is released, that is a problem. However, if new things are released afterwards to improve the experience, ok.

Also, the Witcher DLCs were free, which barely happens: most of the time DLCs are key parts of the vanilla game, or worse (already on disc!).

Some Soulcalibur V DLCs (outfits, etc.), if not disc-locked, are acceptable. But when it's something that should be in the base game (characters' clothing, etc.), it's just plain robbery.

Not to mention when they release DLC that is total crap. I understand that Dampierre was a mobile exclusive until SCV, but out of all the characters we could receive as DLC, only him? Or hell, even if their weapons were exclusive for CaS, but at the very least, make something better, not just a horrible joke character.

its simply like mckee said it if they dlc is ready before release and they make you pay for it thats garbage. But if lets say namco thinks of a new character who they want to include but didnt think of so far and sell it as dlc thats cool.

Not referring to those. Referring to Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, which were 10 and 20 dollars, respectively.

Hopefully we'll get that SC announcement soon, with the classic roster including the ones on the cover photo, and few SCV characters in sight, if any (hopefully they've gotten the hint that people don't want Shitroklos in any more games).

Oh ok ^^ But to be honest, I wouldn't mind paying for such great work: they've provided a lot of free things and, that's not a secret, game developpers gotta eat too. If they did a great job on the base game, and afterwards include bonuses (not requirements to enjoy the game), then it's cool.

DLCs should be improvement of an already pleasant experience, or a fan service. When the game is based on DLCs and barely enjoyable without any, that's a scam.

Back on topic: the only day SCVI could be announced is on September 18th, around midnight pacific time, as Namco will have a "announcement meeting" of new games at TGS.

This is the issue with DLCs.
Except The Witcher 3. They did a good job.

I dunno. Maybe they might be the minimal roster (where's my Raph?!), but I'm not sure why they would do that. it's just random I guess. Or something awful as they've been doing for the last years.

Btw, Talim won the latest "fight" against Yun-seong.

They added another one? Do you think this is a hint to the next game's roster? Like, they'll keep updating it with each character?

......or maybe they wanted to match the dimensions to their Twitter Header by adding one more person.
Nevermind....
