So now that Bangoo is confirmed, what weapon do you think he'll use? He was pictured with an axe in Rock's ending, but I don't they'd get rid of Astaroth for him.
Maybe he'll use a one-handed club or something.

That's one thing that's wrong. They've stopping making the costume DLC this year and it's rumored DOA6 is in development. I don't think it's getting announced instead of SCVI, but it's definitely happening this generation.

Actually I saw a youtube vid speculating that it would be revealed this year, but most likely in NEC18 (15th-17th). No other traces of rumor, even in the forums, almost as if the fanbase don't even care. This year is the last year for DOA5 DLC support btw.

yea I agree this franchise is so dead. But it would be very exciting if they decide to resurrect it.

Ah yes, DoA6, where they finally remove all of the male characters from the game, and retcon Ryu into a loli... I can see it now...
 
What a blow it would be for us if both sc6 AND the 6th iteration of another, more famous game would be announced at these events. It would mean that SoulCalibur is not even worthy of bringing up as a tease.
Whatever.

I don't know much and don't follow DOA, but from this page the last DLC costumes are still recent, there was even a Halloween pack pack costume in October it seems.

But whatever, i'm all the way 100% confident that the 6th game of a huge franchise to be announce will be SC6. If i have a reason to be skeptical about it, believe me i would, but there is really nor reason to think that it's gonna be another "6" numbered game announcement, and that it won't be SC6 THAT game that will be announce soon.
 
Hi guyz, working on my video. I hope it will be ready tomorow night or wednesday. I am trying to sum up all informations/rumours given at this point and adding some stuff that aren't said yet. Also doing a part about Kilik.

I read Oofmatic post, and I understand his feeling. I did have the 3 chars + gameplay info/rumour since a while but did not talk about it because :

Firstly I do not want to spread shit that can be fake because I have lost trust on SC team since SCV.

Secondly because I was sure Namco will use some of these info to build there marketing campaign revealing their char month by month.

Now, there are differents leakers and it seems some kind orchestred by Namco to shake off the dust because the date is imminent.

Even if Vergeden seems to act individualy, there are other hints in the internet, and he is getting his info day by day... So its seems directed or at least in control.

Anyway, in 3 or 10 days we will get our answer, so it's time or it won't be ever.

There are other 6th numbered games but beside the facts that none of them is rumoured like SC6 is:

GTA 6: Just impossible, way too early, and with RDR2 coming this spring 2018, so.
Halo 6: If it exist, Microsoft would announce it on E3. Also 343i community manager confirmed that no Halo 6 at VGA.
TES 6: Way too early as well, especially with Batheda not liking announcing their games too early.

GTA5 continues to sell because of GTA5 Online updates. RDR2 is coming out next year. No way GTA 6 will be announced now.
343 Rep confirmed Halo 6 isn't going to be at the VGA.
I agree with Bethesda's track record of announcing games.

Team Ninja just stopped milking DOA5, a DOA Xtreme Vollyball game came out last year, Nioh this year, they also did Fire Emblem Warriors on Switch & 3DS over a month ago.

Persona 5 came out last year in Japan & release this year worldwide. Atlus is doing Persona Dance spinoff games. Persona 5 development began in 2013

- Also even Maximillian said in a recent video talking about SC6 and leaks, that he heard things but he couldn't say anything worrying to get some people in troubles.

If all of this doesn't give you the least of optimism about the possibility of an upcoming announcement of Soul Calibur 6 this December, well all i can tell you is wait and see until the date of the upcoming events, VGA on 7th, PSX on 8-9th BNE on 15th, SC anniversary on 20th.

I'm all calm and collected, as we were fucked over by fake leaks too much before. But I bet I will lose my shit even from just a 30 second teaser half of which is just logos of companies and another half is a black screen with still text "the soul still burns" with SCVI itself logo appearing after.

What fake leaks? It's generally just been people randomly saying, "SCVI's just gotta be announced at this next show!"

That comic con panel was outright criminal tho.

Exactly, I don't think anything like this has happened before. In the past few years I've been here, it was just wishful thinking.
