No one's updating anything on a Sunday night. You'll have to wait.

Omg Hilde is back!!! :D :D :D I wanted to see her come back; I'm so happy eeeeeee~!!!

However, I'm in the minority here, but I'll go on and say it. I honestly am a bit underwhelmed by her design visually. I do appreciate how it makes her look more regal, but it also feels meh to me. Tit armor, the big coat, that mullet-like hair... not feelin' it. I'm so glad to actually see the WOLF back in Wolfkrone though. I never liked how her motif switched over to griffins for SCV. It's nice to see the big doggos back.🐺

I am wondering the same thing that someone else posted above, pages back -- how gimmicky will Hilde feel? Will there be a different way to implement her charge attacks rather than having to hold down the button? Obviously we're gonna have to wait to find out though. sOoNeR oR LaTeR we'll be getting more info. 🙄

I'm so glad to see Hilde back though, for reals!!!!! :D :D :D

I hope we will get at least one of her previous armours but I suppose we'll get just the dress

1). Really happy to see Hilde back!
2). Not really all that surprised though. Called it almost a year ago. Also as of now that whole prediction of mine looks mighty fine! And to think how many naysayers opposed it over the months...
3). Someone's gonna loose a bet to me very hard very soon =).
4). Those new armored gauntlets are just what I needed to perfect my favourite CaS!
5). Boob armor is fine, there is nothing wrong with it. Here is a good breakdown:

It does, but if any part of you believes that the colors still matter, why would Hwang be grey at all? He's very much blue/green/purple/yellow, much color.

The defeatist part of me makes me possibly believe that grey might could even be Edge Master...
if the last character is Edge master then i will eat my socks, i dont think the community is waiting for literally a clone.

Who's to say he can't be grey in this new game? Hilde was never yellow but here we are.
yeah the colors and the code names dont mean shit.

The colors and code names may not mean a whole lot (because they can alter the meaning) but the sword alignment definitely seems vague enough to be accurate.

Did anyone noticed how Okubo hinted on a potential SC world tour to be reveal in a later date? (maybe next year?)

Also super glad to see Hilde back, even tho i historically didn't use her much but she's such a great character, and she's definitely one of the best character that deserve to come back and was on my top 3 most legit/make sens characters to make it in season 2 (with Yun/Hwang, Setsuka)

I can't be that excited for any of it really. I have no attachment to Hilde. And I'm meh on Haohmaru. I was all in for the return of Hwang and Setsuka, though.

With the way that the character pass was set up, I thought that I'd be able to chill with Hwang for a while until Setsuka showed up as the likely 3rd character. But now, Setsuka's probably not coming for another half a year and now it's up in the air if Hwang is showing up at all.

Guess I just lose.

Yeah, shit, it's all over if pink is Setsuka: you'll have 3 of 4.

Ugh... So who's it gonna be then?

I actually like every element, as an individual piece. The tiara is going to come in quite handy, I suspect. Even the boobplate is fine for any number of CaS purposes (bulkier automotons, certain characters who are allusions to characters in anime that already use boobplate, ect). You know what is going to be difficult to ignore though? Sophitia, Ivy, and Taki's busts clipping out over the armour!

Eh, I'm on board with a lot of that, but his argument falls apart at the point that he begins to list the "precedents" for instances where historical armour made even small concessions in safety for the sake of emphasizing exclusively male or female physical characteristics: and his one real-world example in Henry VIII's bulge armour? The show-offy armour of a famously ego-maniacal, foppish king who was never going to be in a melee. Nah, look, I can concede many of his other predicate points (steel is still immensely tough even with structurally poor choices for the sake of aesthetic design, had there been more female warriors as a historical matter, can we not expect there to be a proportionally large number of designers/buyers willing to experiment if the risks weren't too great, ect.)

But at the end of the day, we all know something intuitive here: if you were a warrior on the battlefield and watched someone with bulge armour enter literally dick first into battle, you would roll your eyes and think to yourself "Ugh, what an asshole!" If he was your king who you had come across half a continent to live or die with, you would still think that. And I have no reason to believe that (had history taken a different course) female plate-armor wearers would think any differently about tit armor: "Really Hildegard? Why not throw on some tassels. And by the way, you are fooling no one--I've seen you in a dress and you are a B cup at best." And that's what it really comes down to: boobplate and bulgearmour are the armour equivalent of bra and crotch stuffing respectively, and only a really sad person would do it if it meant even the slightest pragmatic structural weakness in the design. Except, unlike stuffing your undergarments, it would be immediately obvious to anyone who saw you in your armour. It's equal parts sad, weird, and silly, regardless of the degree of disadvantage.

The word "fukkatsu" doesn't always mean resurrection in the literal sense, though. That's why nuance and context are important in translation. It can also be used for something like clothing coming back into style or a musical or movie getting a second run. "Comeback", "revival", etc. are all valid translations.

I really wish you or someone else had posted this earlier so we could have killed that resurrection character idea quick.

Can you believe some of us really thought there was an inkling of a chance for Li Long? That’s how crazy we got in our theory making.

That will be Ivy.

I can give you more examples if you want.
Just look at this famous Polish winged hussar armor:

Like what the hell were they even thinking? And mind you, that was not just one guy with a weird taste, that thing was actualally a mass-produced army standard. The wings were detachable, so not every hussar wore those into battles, but for a fact many actually did.
