He's just referencing the earlier Talim tease tweet, it's not a new convoluted hint.

I would agree, but the only way I can get SOULCALIBUR to appear on the same line is if I zoom the page to 30%, the lowest size available in Firefox. Twitter's formatting is to blame for putting SOULCALIBUR on its own line, and I don't imagine that Okubo expects people to zoom their page out that much to see it that way. I'm looking at this on a 40-inch 4K display, by the way, so I don't think screen size has anything to do with it.

And Hayate said it's a subtle hint based on his new sources confirming some leaks, sooo... I choose to believe.

@sytus -- Hayate says it's a hint as-is, but more subtle, so they wouldn't just do all the letters like Talim again, which is why I think it's initials.

Just to be contrarian I think that tweet might be referencing a completely different character. While the other prevalent theory is that the 'time to sleep' is referencing Raphael saying 'rest little one' to Talim (which considering Talim was just revealed I can see the pieces they are fragmenting together) I think there is a chance that it could be Raphael for another line in this; "all for ,,,". This is intentional and I believe that each one stands for one letter in a name. Since Ivy is already revealed the only character with three letters in their name is Amy.

This could be referring to Raphael and his goal of giving everything to amy "all for amy" or this could simply be hinting that the next character to be revealed will have three letters in their name and thus be Amy and not Raphael. Perhaps Amy with Viola's moveset as I think was mentioned in a previous leak.

Regardless I think there is more than enough here to make an argument for a few different characters. I mean despite the fact I don't find it likely this could also be a reference to Algol as he has not one but two lines of dialogue saying 'sleep for eternity' and 'sleep'. While I find the Raphael or Amy one more likely (they would definitely be required to change Amy's timeline around if it is her...hence why I'm leaning more to Raphael personally) there's enough here that we can pull out possibilities for a lot of characters.

It could also be none of these and this tweet is hinting towards Astaroth or Cervantes who will almost definitely be in the game.
 
The first letters of the words in the last sentence of Hayate's post spells out IHOOTS, which is a very obvious Olcadan hint. The owl man is returning!

By Jolly I think you've got it! We've been looking at this all wrong. It is not the contents of the tweet that matters but the fact it is a "tweet". Which character in the series is tied closely to birds. Tira. What do birds do? Tweet. What was she a member of before joining in SCIII? The Birds of Passage. There is further 'evidence' to suggest Tira is next beyond this though. For example the tweet was split into multiple pieces and which character do we know is bipolar or has multiple personality disorder? Tira. It could also be Ocladan but likely no one wants him so I'll just ignore that possibility.
