Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

I actually think that golden feline-inspired design would look better on a new woman of colour. Maybe one who wields two sharp sets of claws, the secondary pair with poison status effects like someone suggested before. Tira looks better with the bird motif and the popidol kittycat bs looked ridiculous and made no sense on Talim

Are you blind??? This is a completely different aesthetic. That and if anything, you could compare it to a less intricate berserker dressphere from FFX-2. How you drew a comparison to Faris is beyond me.

Anyway. Clearly, they'll make some amalgamation based on her previous P1 outfits but they are all so different from eachother that they may as well make a revamped Bird of Passage outfit. A mash-up wouldn't come out too well.
 
I’m convinced Tira will take even more from Harley Quinn if you consider her an inspiration for the former besides Cirque do Soleil.

Low key hoped that the really fake Salia rumor was true so we’d get a sword and crossbow.


She looks really different in each default but seems to prefer the crazy twin tails even though she looked best with her SCIII outfit.

I made a design in Champions Online (seriously CaS fans, it has no subscription and seems fun to hold you out for the next few months if you just create characters there.)

Incidentally she looks like one of my Mortal Kombat OCs from some time ago here.

As an aside I thought she'd look good with heterochromia (which seems to be an option with more character creation engines I think so I hope it's here too.)
 
I want Tira to come out like she put glue all over her body and jumped into a pile of ravens feathers. I want a nest crown on her head. Ditch the bright colors, go dark. If she's gonna have makeup on, make it actually look like a 10 year old did it.

I feel like it would be a lot more likely that we'll see something like this, but not as torn up and tattered. From the New Legends of Project Soul art book, it would appear that that outfit was her Bird of Passage uniform, except worn out over the years of her wandering. Of course, with armor break, it will probably become her outfit from SoulCalibur III, but it will at least start out as a cohesive outfit.

That's Faris from Steins;Gate. She got worse in Steins;Gate 0, and is what I was referring to:

Tira aside, I'm actually curious what color Astaroth's "skin" will be. Most likely some kind of clay color. I'm not too sure what he's made of but that silhouette doesn't look like a rock monster. The armored parts to me kind of resemble the armor-looking rocks on him in IV.

And since Raphael doesn't seem as likely to be a vampire, here's hoping he takes after his original appearances. I don't know why he lost the goatee in the later games but since he's in his exiled nobleman phase, maybe that can be an excuse for it to come back?

And remember when we didn't recognize him because of the hat when Ezio was leaked?

Still it feels odd that some characters have appearances that pretty much match their early costumes while others get wildly different looks.
