improving story elements vs creating new mechanics, new characters, new fighting styles, new moves, testing the afforementioned, making sure they work as intended aswell as animate correctly and don't bring up any glitches or bugs and of course properly balancing moves and mechanics out so they aren't completely useless nor absolutley OP.Improving story vs, Improving gameplay. You tell me, what thought process goes where.
He is right, actually. While both require creativity, fixing gameplay is a lot more objective: there is a part of the gameplay with an issue that prevents it from being what it should be, so, you pick that part and turn it back to what it should be, the only times where creativity is necessary on that is if you need to remove a specific part and add another to it, so you must add something that fits, but even when it comes to the testing part, its very objective. Story, however, must be something that keeps your attention, it must always be new and different, because if its too predictable, nobody will care about it, so it requires a lot more creativity to write one.Would you care to elaborate on this?
As much as she is more interesting and has more new moveset potential with her arm, we most probably gonna see normal Pyrrha return, as she was in both LS and pachinko - which meams that they consider her more marketable than Omega.Pyrrha Ω
I'm not worried about old favorites not coming back, we've had more than enough proof to suggest that Hoshino has different plans than what Daishi had. Though, with Hwang I'm not sure where he stands I'll admit.I'm going to die inside a little if they make excuses about how they can't add old characters as DLC if this game is real after it's hypothetical launch.
I don't need every veteran in every game. But it would be nice to have one big game with everyone in just at least *once* like the tekken tag titles. Put them in one big game, then cut that roster in half or 3/4ths for the sequels.
But that's not going to happen, or at least won't for a long time.
(Though it's something that Team Ninja did with Dead Or Alive 5. They released expansions that brought back basically every desired veteran)
Rest in Peace Hwang
He's not coming back. It's gonna be the lost SCIV characters and that's probably it and then new characters.I'm not worried about old favorites not coming back, we've had more than enough proof to suggest that Hoshino has different plans than what Daishi had.
