T6BR tier list

Thanks for the Leo tips, guys. Really helpful. I like these consolidated lists cuz they get you a really nice quickstart on a character. Also, I noticed Leo's df1+2,1+2,qcf+2 ("BBP") has a JF. You just press the qcf+2 at the later frames after 1+2. Some of you prob. know this already, but that was something neat I thought.

I also really like u/f1 into options. The supercharge is sliiick!

I'm a little late on this, but EpicPhail, i would prefer to not even touch online unless you live in CA, and even then i don't want to consider it, so sorry, no online. ;_;

Also, I'm working on Hwoarang as my secondary and am wondering if there are any good JFSR setups. The only way i seem to hit it is straight at the start of the round or if my opponent whiffs. Other than that, i can't really seem to spam it, like an EWGF, although it is safe against everyone save for King.

Some Leo stuff
11) ws141 is -7/-12/-14 on block. IIRC, it's ncc. Best used as wall juice, but ws14 on its own isn't a bad poke, just don't abuse (because of low parry).

the first two hits are NCc, as well as the last two hits. since you can delay all 3 hits, it's a great tool, i'd say.

TZ Raven forums has all them Raven combos..

NO Shin, Hwoa is far too awesome for you, stand down

I don't intend to be using online for anything more than a place to practice inputs.

REALLY bad idea. If you had said "I just play online to connect with other players and learn stuff from them" that wouldn't be that bad. Practicing inputs online will RUIN your offline timing. It's not like "oh I'll just practice a bit before playing offline and get it back" that shit will not work. Quit while you're ahead man, online is a dead end.

Btw, Kowtow since you posted in the SSF4 thread as well, damn seems like you play a lotta games! Are you trying to pick up all these games or do you have a certain # of games that are your mains? I've turned into a more casual/hardcore gamer so I'm looking at picking up other fighting games as well.

lol no I'm just really bored at work. I don't even play Calibur seriously anymore. Only reason I even Gamefly'd Tekken is because I like hanging out with the people who play locally here in Buffalo, I don't plan on entering any tournies for it.

I spend like 4 hours a day playing offline just practicing combos or punishing crap. I don't think 30 minutes of casually playing online is going to suddenly make me retarded. Also, I meant practicing inputs against real people, because fighting against an actual person and fighting against the AI are two totally different things.

You are right though, online is an absolute shit fest. As soon as I feel semi-competent with Bruce and Dragunov, i'm never going back to online unless they magically make it lagless.

The Marduk's high roller club is settled.

Kazuya, Paul and Zafina are it's members. Lei, Asuka and Christie are out.

Sorry my man Lei but you just ain't the same anymore, time for you to take a little break. And Zafina and Paul are more fun for me in this game so, sorry ladies. You'll find some love somewhere else, I'm sure.

Megiddo, dat's koo I have an offline sparring partner who swears off online as well so I understand. I am one of those online masochists so that's why I keep playing online. But it does kinda suck when you play serious against good players and realize that even if you win or lose it doesn't really matter, but I only play online to learn playstyles so that's good enough.

Some setups off the top of my head and maybe from watching videos are:

RFF ff+3, SS JFSR
RFF b+2, JFSR
LFF blocked jab or d/f1, JFSR - used as a high crush perhaps?
LFF u/f34 (blocked), JFSR
RFF d/f4~hold f, RFS 4 (blocked...even though this sequence is a good setup for other things in and of itself esp. at walls), JFSR

I think the blockstun moves in general open up to JFSR setups. I also realize some of these can be negated by BDC or quick pokes, but yea this is mostly off the top of my head so not really tested-worthy, but maybe it can give you some ideas. I haven't used Hwoarang long enough to know his ins and outs, but he is a fun character indeed.

No one is too manly for Megiddo, Animefreak. NO ONE. Not even you. O_O

And also, yea, anyone got any tips? I already looked over at TZ but couldn't find any relevant info.

WE SHALL SEE MEGIDDO

RFF ff+3, SS JFSR <-- is something ive seen work often, but that's just from watching.

And i've been playing online a wee bit since Friday and although it's crap ass retarded, when I find a room with Green bars and only 1 or 2 people, it's ok, i mean I can do combos if I don't die too fast from sucking

Alright, thanks guys. I should just rely on blockstun moves and moments where i have frame advantage for JFSR bait, and then BAM!!! there goes 50-80% of your health XD But it's still tough to land on a decent opponent .__.

Oh and Dully, you might be right. I mean, this IS the guy that ate that 7 lb. monstrosity of a burrito...
