I...I think that IS his character.
Z.W.E.I.? Well, he is my favorite of the new male characters. (Pat's personality annoys me but his style is pretty cool, Xiba is just... Xiba... lol) .But he isn't my main since I am not all that good with him. My main is pretty much Viola in this game.
-As far as the switch thing goes. I was thinking that maybe it could be special edition CE perhaps? Like, he can maybe turn into a full-fledged werewolf and stay in it for a limited amount of time. I'm sure they could balance his attacks so he isn't too god-like. Or maybe it can just be just implemented into his CE where he attacks you, goes all werewolf and uppercuts the opponent into the air and unleashes a barrage of claw attacks, then goes back to human after the CE is complete. Those are some ideas haha. I think it could work like Bloody Roar too.
And yeah. If the Wolf spirit had a more natural beastly body instead of robotic, I think I would have liked EIN better.
And I haven't played Lament of Innocence yet but I have heard mixed things on the game. I think I saw a picture of the guy you were talking about. Pretty cool. = )
You're awfully biased for somebody who plays Soul Calibur. The game itself isn't meant to be believable or 'practical.' It's made by the Japanese, when have they ever been 'practical' in terms of game design period? Besides, don't be jealous that Siegfried is overrated and Viola's awesome.
I think it's mostly because back before SCV came out, pretty much most of the characters weapons had signature styles that weren't heavily fantasy based excluding Ivy, somewhat Voldo (I have seen vids of people who have flexibility/extra reflexive though), and I guess Cervantes with his crazy teleporting and floaty swords. When SCV came around, Viola and Zwei had more fantasy-based weapon styles (which I don't mind personally, I love Viola's orb. And even if I'm not a big fan of Ein, I will admit it was very innovative for something like him). But then again, you had Siegfried who handled a somewhat giant sword but I digress.
But anyway, that's just my 2 cents there.
I hope they ditch all the things you like about your character too.
I respect your opinion. But even so, if PS does go on with the franchise, I'm pretty sure they won't change Zwei and I'll be fine with it at the end of the day. *shrugs*
I just like SC the way it used to be (weapons and design wise, you know when they were based on real weapon styles...). That's all. Also, how is Viola interesting at all? She's never interested me in the slightest.
I understand what you mean. Even though I like Viola's style. If the game goes on, I hope that PS just tries to balance out the realistic styles with the more fantasy/magical ones. The one thing I wouldn't want to see is new characters who use like heavy use of magic and they all of a sudden, stop adding in more weapons (I still want to see an authentic Egyptian warrior or a meteor hammer user...). For Viola, I can't explain why I find her interesting. I should say, I find her aesthetic interesting. Since she was practically not in the story, some of her quotes sound kinda cheesy lol.
