The thing is I'm not all that bothered by unisex equipment (there are time that I will be),. But I'm just shaking on head over the sense of entitlement that everything should be unisex and that somehow makes the game better. There are clear reasons regarding character design as to why some gear were gender specific, that's just a "limitation" it seems. Yes, this is getting too political and I don't want this thread shut down because of it
 
I can also live with not seeing Volhyrra because somethings are not for you eyes to take in. Just like your body only let's you experience a certain amount of pain before you black out. Thank You Project Soul for saving my eye sight.

People can say its putting limits all you want but from the things I have made and saw, I am very content within these boundaries.
 
are people only using the raccoon tail to make dicks? HONESTLY!!! there are other spc.eq pieces that work better.
 
^Yea, those are coming up less and less. Only problem is they've been replaced with Scurburugis.
 
Well if were going to be this fickle i dont know how it's ever going to be done. Asking for more but within reason is far to vague of an idea for them to pull anything from it. They need specifics if you cant have everything. There should be some kind of list of items that we can call gender neutral, and even not everyone will agree on it. It's making the whole endevor seem pretty hopeless if just this one subject causes such a divide.

Personally i dont get what is so wrong about it at all. The only thing i can seem to gather is "Well we will see even stranger things" like it's some new concept. So long as we have raccoon penises and ball breasts saying anything more is too much sounds ridiculous.

I think it's just to save up another slot. Because it's true, the Cylinder+Ball+Heart combination work much better.
 
There is no divide. If anything all the clothes should be able to be wore by females and somethings should only be for them since women can get away with that.

1p and 2p outfits should be gender locked.

That doesnt sound all that fair is my problem with it... Girls get everything and guys get the shaft.

And the default outfit thing is again not such a good idea cause a lot of other people agree that Pat's 2P should be available to girls.

Are you kidding me? Do you live under a rock? It's exactly how it is in the real world. If I leave out my house in a pretty pink dress with some red hills on, I will get a bunch of strange stares and I'm sure my friends will laugh til some organ in their body bursts.

A woman can walk out the house in blue baggy jeans, a black hoodie, and some black and green Adidas and as long as she is cute in the face men would still be like "damn I want to hit that".

Your personal creation reflects you. If that sort of stuff isn't the developers thing then who are you to judge them.

It was never about fairness to begin with. It's called a double standard.

I dont know why you would want to encourage double standards. Your logical fallacies have no place in deciding how a game should be made, or even how things should be.

I know how things work in the real world and why should that matter at all, in the slightest? This is a game, a fantasy game at that. Even so your point is just a social construct built around the society that you live in.

Sure go ahead and ignore the part that says "Your personal creation reflects you".

I enjoy the pleasures of both sexes but if I made SCV it would still be the same way. If a cross dresser made SCV then maybe we would see otherwise and all your limits would be gone or maybe the shoe would be on the other foot. You know more options for men, fewer for women.
 
Crossdressing in vidja gaemz shouldn't be taken seriously. At all. In any context.

Stop. You're setting the wheels in motion to have this thread locked. Your egocentricity about "knowing how the world works" and you insisting that Creation is best if it goes in the manner you see fit (all things unisex, "limitations") is beginning to shrug off any argument you've made.

This game isnt just about creating personal reflections though, it's about making your own characters period. And i dont care who makes the game, it simply is a matter of not being fair. I dont want more for men or less for women or any of that. If my creations can be whatever i want then give me the freedom to do just that. And if the reason this cant be done is some real world double standard than that just makes it even worse.

I'm not the one being Egocentric saying i know how the world works. Reave brought that up first. Do you even know what you're talking about? Can you really not see that? He even made the example about wanting to "hit" some cute girl in a black hoodie because "That's how the world works" It wasnt me saying that it was him. Ridiculous to even claim it invalidates anything when apparently you cant even see what you're reading.

It's just a game. You're the only person on here hardpressed about gender equality in a character creation feature. Some characters will be able to use something another can't. Deal with it. Why is that so hard for you to accept? Work within the means.
 
You seem to forget how they are the ones who made the trailer with the crossdressing custom with lipstick, edline, a short pink skirt, among other things. The fact cross dressing is made available in-game already shows there is no prejudice or lack of enthusiasm over the matter. Project Soul clearly shows no qualms with crossdressing males, even if u find it personally offensive.

If anything, it sounds like you are projecting a personal bias about disliking a social topic, providing a real life analogy of a social group that commonly is held (particularly in the West) that is heavily objective in perspective, following up with a unfounded claim of the providing company of belonging to such a social group ( please clarify your double standard comment so I can make sure I am not making a false observation).

Considering Japan's culture and laws, I will disagree and object to that idea. Project Soul shows evidence (mentioned above) of cooperating with a demographic that falls in line with some of the cultural and social values of the country. In fact, I will argue that they are actually simply being biased toward another demagraphic widely accepted in their culture (sexualization if females, especially young girls) based on the recent, female only DLC released of female attire reflecting the appeal to this demographic and charging it at a higher price per Monte.t pack despite the social pack containing less content then other packs (the character costume pack).

In short, I dont think PS is biased against crossdressing in the game from both sides but is simply biased for the fan service of females. The point? This bias for one demographic to appeal for profits is ignoring a potential demographic that they can exploit for profits. Gender neutral wear and giving more items for males allows us to increase our creative limits and motivates us to purchase related products (DLC). I see no losing end for PS, especially considering they would probably have a large market locally as well as at least a small one overseas. There is no reason my male cant have more female items on him other then a game'd limitations that developers can rectify.
