I so wanted to buy something but I didn't like the current packs, so I bought the ancient armor and the boys day costume.
They were disappointing, as I only wanted about a piece or two from each and one of them didn't work as I wanted.
But then I bought Dampierre, and that purchase was fabulous :D

I would add Tekken Costume Pack, Active Wear 1, Active Wear 2, Headgears 2, Bulletproof Headgear, and Extra Equipment 1 as well so, for me, it is closer to 80-90%. I really do not understand this senseless debate about what is good and what is poor. It really depends on each people what is useful and what is not useful. I personally have no real use for the Modern Costumes 2 or Sexy Costumes 1 packs but others have so it could not be bad then.
There will be restrictions, some are perhaps even absurd. However, considering the Viola hood glitch that was noted previously, a lot of these restrictions appear to be glitch related so I feel a bit more lenient on Project Soul knowing they want to make sure we have gear that doesn't make our character suddenly contort and stretch into impossible forms randomly online. We all know things could be "better" if our individual voice had tailored PS's DLC but it does not.
I personally am excited to see that a lot of character equipment will be released in the foreseeable future. I look forward to next month.

that IS a great idea, until we get all those great staches you requested... you can use horns to create handlebars and fu manchus. And japanese character stickers for porn, hitler, and horseshoe staches. Use the one that's just a thick line, its near the top. i made a Dangle from reno 911 with a sticker stache and he looks pretty good. All he needs is a proper shirt with a collar and button front, when are we getting that?!?!?!?

Oh I know that too, I just think it's funny how upset people are about this specific piece. It's probably going to clash with everything that isn't "Vagrants Waraiji" anyway. Granted I'm excited about it, but I won't cry plague against P.S because it wasn't released two week and seven years ago.

They aren't the best and I have others without pics but these are some with options you say aren't good.
I think it's all up to the person and how they are able to use it.

Actually, he's right about that 90% (for me it's 100%). Even though not everyone is going to like certain pieces, overall the dlc that was released is quite good. There's nothing wrong with the modern clothes or sexy packs. If you see them as what they are (as simply Cowgirl clothes, Nurse dress, Stewardess uniform, etc,.) and not try to combine them with other pieces to make them better, you're not going to like them. You can make an Indian female with the cowgirl clothes (with pants if you like), the Stewardess uniform could be seen as a suit or an alternative for the long leather coat, the Nurse dress could be made into a a uniform/biker clothes, etc. You just have to think outside the box.

It's also up to the person and what they want to see in SoulCalibur. I'm pretty sure a lot of people here (if not most) prefer creating period appropriate CAS.

Armor is not the only way to equal "period appropriate".
If some people's imagination only goes as far as metal and helmets, well then that's their problem. Don't say pieces of clothing are useless when they obviously aren't.

I personally hate the idea of 'period appropriate' in this series, though. These people are Debbie Downers in my eyes. The game is fantasy. The fashions on the cast themselves are SO loosely bound to the time period - it makes no sense to limit yourself that much.
I dislike ultra-futuristic stuff being put into the game (people making robots or space marine... or star wars), though. That's mostly a result of the stages we have access to, of course. :p

After typing it I did think about that and yes sir, you are correct.
I simply just don't like to limit myself and deem CAS pieces as useless just because they aren't made of metal.
I have created from Medieval times, to current, to futuristic and everything in between.
Of course no one has to do that also, just don't act like everything else is useless. (Not you in particular)

Speaking of Star Wars and futuristic (I am looking at my avatar), would it be possible to have some Star Wars DLC is Lucasarts allowed it? There are a lot of uses I can think of with Star Wars costumes, especially Queen Amidala's extensive wardrobe. Then again, I am sure it will be licensed by George Lucas to be ridiculously limited to the entire costume as one piece, unable to have stickers, patterns, or color editting, and be forced for me to pay an exuberant amount of money to go to GL's pocket for reading "Star Wars" in the DLC title.

I was in 6th grade when SCII came out and I always joked with my friends about how Darth Vader would show up in future games. They told me it would never happen.
My point is never say never. Especially with Japanese games. They'll pull some ridiculous nonsense sooner or alter. It's inevitable. Just wait til SC7 rolls out. We'll have Jar Jar Binks as a secondary protagonist with the Hamburglar outfit as DLC.
