Yeah guys for the sake of the thread, please try to keep it positive. There are already plenty of threads that have the bad of the game so let's just try to focus on the positives of the game.
It's a damn shame you can't keep a thread nice.

There is so little positives that there's really no point, but ok, I will amend my previous post to keep you happy:
The Good of SCV.

What might there be? I suppose that:
  1. The Music has definitely impressed me. Most of my favourite particular pieces are from the SCV range.
  2. The CAS is one hundred times better than it used to be, I am extremely happy with that.
  3. The CEs and BEs definitely made it more exciting to play.
  4. Online play is a lot better, however there is still some stuff that needs sorting out.

Let's see here....

1. Music-Music has always been great in the series, but I'll admit that this is a step up from SCIV.

2. Gameplay-As simple as it is now, it's quite smooth and refreshing from the past games.

3. Quick Step-OMG! Definitely this! The best addition in SCV. You have any idea how irritating it is to play SCIV now? I immediately stopped playing it because of the lack of quick step.

4. New Characters-I'll admit that they are underdeveloped, but are different from their predecessor in many ways. I wish there were more new weapons though, but it's not like it can't happen in future installments.

5. Creation-Still irrelevant, but the new features give players much more creativity/freedom than past games. A little too much freedom though.

Gameplay: Love the speed in this game. SCIV felt a bit slow for my tastes. Meter stuff is also neat. Hope they'll carry at least some of it over to future installments.
Online: Pretty good netcode. Smooth most of the time. They should get rid of showing w/l on everything but ranked though. Might decrease rage quits.
CAS: Has a bit it could improve on, but still is pretty amazing.
ZWEI: Pretty much my favorite character to play in any 3D fighting game to date. Call him bad or gimmicky if you want, I think he's a blast to use (even if I lose with him most of the time lol).

Gameplay: The speed and pacing of matches is great, and the meter is an interesting new touch. All they have to do is remove CEs, remove JGs, make GIs not cost meter unless they hit, make GIs cost 25% meter instead of 50, and restore their original command to 6/4G and we're set. And MAYBE restore Soul Charge.

Online: The first Namco fighter, and maybe even the first 3D fighter, to have amazing netcode. Bars are accurate most of the time, and when fighting 3 bars or above the game plays damn-near perfectly. I would like some character-specific leaderboards, though. And no W/L on anything except the leaderboards/licenses. And a 15-minute ban from online if somebody ragequits, with subsequent punishments for further transgressions (this way retards/psychopaths like Catman can end up permabanned for being a nuisance to the community).

Sound: The music is much better than 4's soundtrack, and themes are now sorted by character rather than by stage. If you're a fan of the classic music there's also the DLC to help you out. Also, the English voice acting doesn't suck as much as it used to (it helps that the lip-syncing is designed for the English voiceovers and not the Japanese ones like SC4).

I like the character designs, I think they're pretty good this time around. As much as I hate to say it, the nostalgia-inspired ones are especially good.

Gameplay. New step mechanics, JG, meter GI, and BEs are all awesome.
Visuals. It's a pity the game can't run at 1920x1080p but consoles gonna console, I guess. Art direction and the visual effects in general mesh really well. Beautiful stages.
Aeon's character model is the sexiest it's ever been. New moveset is fun, really lets you work your fundamentals.
No Talim. Fewer female characters in general, actually. Major improvement.
First fighting game I know of to have truly great netcode.

Oh c'mon. You know she's the medieval, elbow blade-wielding, teenage, Filipino, weeaboo version of Cheech & Chong. Stop denying it and look at what she says in that light. She's the straight man of a comedic duo, just needs to hang out with someone sillier...And less high. Dampierre?

I would approve of that combo if I wasn't afraid of what Dampierre had planned for her. D:

He wouldn't be able to a damn thing with her around. She'd smack him every time he even thought about doing something sinister. He'd reel back in pain, hold his head, and give her an evil glare as she lectures him on how naughty he's been and how he is forgiven...before she smacks him in the head again and lectures him about the evils of convoluted revenge plots.

EDIT: And then she'd ask him if he's seen her roach.

Graphics: I can say that the graphics from Soul Calibur 4 were improved dramatically.
- Characters: The characters' tweening, extremes, and overall detail was superb.

-SC4 Raphael:

-SC5 Raphael:

-Stages: The stages were more "play friendly" in 5. The stages vary in size, have well designed backgrounds and vivid coloring, and give the player a variety to choose from. Compare the stages Raphael is in above.

-SC4: Tower of Remembrance

-SC5 Version:

Compare the differences. The lighting itself should impress you, we all know the SC4 version was an eye sore.

Online: SC's online netcode for PSN improved quite a bit with a couple of problems here and there. It's a lot more diverse as well as neat as there are lobbies for areas you live in as well as a lobby for rooms that someone has created, there are also tourneys!!!

Character creation: Pretty self explanatory, but I'll explain a couple of things.

-Overall collection: The clothes, accessories, and weapons were very creative and added a great variety of things for CaS fans. I love that you can tat up your character, Talim be lookin' crazy with her tatted booty lol.

Gameplay: Love that shit, love the pace, love CE and BE. Let's keep improving this system in every new SC game.

TL;DR: The shit is good. The End.
