This tournament was an absolute blast! I hadn't stayed that long at Jaxel's in years. I'm sorry that it was such a small turn-out.
Sean: Good Shit!! I told you Cervantes was your character! I think you are only at the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this character. I know he doesn't play in the manner in which you would like, but throw all of that shit out of the window and play him! But in all seriousness, these last few years of getting to know who you are have been...interesting, lol. But I want you to know, sincerely, how happy I am for you and how much fun it has been to watch you play SC5. It has been a pleasure to watch your evolution from the early days of SC4. I know how dedicated to the game and the SC community you are, how hard you have worked, and how important that winning that tournament was for you. You won with style and class, and that's the important thing. Take a moment a and feel good about yourself. You deserve it.
For JRWR7: A very big thank you. I'm sorry that this tournament was your last tournament. I hated SC4, but your presence for all of those tournaments helped to make the tournaments a better place for me. I knew that we would get along well--not because we are much older than all of the players in the SC community--not because we have a great deal in common--and not because of that great way of introducing yourself to me (JRWR7 walked up to me in the days of SC4 and asked, "Are you 350z?" Then he promptly followed up with, "I hate your guts."). I knew we would get along well because you had pizza and doughnuts at a tournament, and any man who likes to wash his pizza down with doughnuts as dessert is a fine man indeed! We have had so many laughs and great conversations that I will definitely miss your attendance at SC tournaments. In fact, we will all miss your insane raging at the game, your encyclopedia-like knowledge of all things related to movies and popular culture (particularly porn), your great stories, and, most importantly, your infectious laugh. Hopefully, you can make it back up to NEC, Winter Brawl, or some other east coast tournament once you and your wife are settled in the new area. Good luck with the new move and take care.
