The Return of G2?

Is that mid and the throw even the same frames? If not then thats just timing your duck to go under the throw period, if you did a mid that was the same amount of frames as a throw, i bet it would hit.

that's the whole point of a fuzzy guard: a throw comes out faster than any mid in vf. in vf it's possible to do several defensive tactics in a short time to defend against several attacks. vf is not a lazy-man's game on offense or defense, which is part of the reason why so many people hail it as being as deep as it is (and some people dare say breaking throws in sc is difficult... HA!).

what jaxel is talking about is the ability to make a throw whiff by ducking quickly, but making it "look" like the throw whiffs right through the opponent. the vf example is just exemplifying what a "fuzzy guard" is because it's not a term that's popularly used in the sc community. the duck in sc is faster than in vf, so it doesn't serve as the best "translation", but it gets the point across in a visual sense (as you can see the duck, in sc it's not very noticable) if you are familiar enough with the tactic.

I dont know, what the heck is twitch ducking:P. Why peoples do so funny names for crouching. Its just the crouch:P.
Dont try to find some techniques or strats in it:). Its just simple part of the system that alow you to block lows in 1 frame after makeing crouch command, it also TC in first frame. But its not a fully crouch yet. FC is availeble in 4th frame after crouch command, if im remember correctly.

The Second part of the Xianghua's 214B+G can be blocked, it is already know by several Xianghua Player. I don't think it's the return of G2.

The X throw being guarded is clearly a glitch. Even if you guard it, X is at frame advantage. Not a big problem though

Would really suck too... To get rid of G2, they created VC in SC3...
To get rid of VC, they got rid of while-landing moves, advance/retreat guard in SC4...
While-landing moves were removed only in SC4, not SC3:AE (which didn't have VC either).

This makes your line of thinking questionable! For the love of god STOP making shit up :(:(:(:(:(

Today, I saw someone get out of Asura Dance after getting hit by the first part. The person being hit seemed to go into a crouch, and then the rest of Asura Dance whiffed. Would this be an example of G2?

yea, u can get out of combos too I've noticed, it happened today, I dont know what it was, but I knew I got out of it cuz I ducked, and probably cuz I g2 ducked,

and online, with some after battles with kpc, his cervy g2 whiffed some low i did, cant remember, but it happened

and it happens...

and its beyond risky, but in certain situation, its probably ur best option.

research is underway
