Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

It's decent for learning match-ups and gives you an idea what to expect but is frustrating when you drop combos and simplify because you drop them *cough* me *cough* other than that it's pretty educational. Does things for you that computers wont.

Yeah, nothing's more frustrating, though, than when it seems like the game's not dropping ANY frames until you start attacking and then, unless you're mashing, your combo drops and because everyone and their mama seems to mash lows that gatling into one another, you get combo'd. -.-;

I still maintain that playing comps on the hardest difficulty has helped me more than most online players, but, then again, in most fighting games, my biggest strengths tend to be movement and punishment. Would help if people actually did set ups and tech traps (though it's damn near impossible to block some stuff and tech throws without doing it early), but most of them tend to be carbon copies of some stuff they saw the next guy do.

Other than that, I can't play Jill online. =(

And that guy I played was on PSN.

My lowest ping on my PC which is doing a lined connection is 120ms on Battlefield:BC2. My PS3 is set to wireless (N)...so yeah mvc3 lag issues + 120ms being the best I can pray for + my already shitty execution skills = me spamming projectiles and advancing guard on loop. I'd rather chip you to death than risk my combo's dropping and getting punished. I will say the online is not 100% useless for legit strategies like SC4 is. I just need to switch to cable this month.

Yeah online is pretty lame sometimes, and its frustrating when people just attack non stop and you can't punish unsafe crap like magnetos slide kick. Though I have learned some things from online like what hulk can stop amd what not. Hulks s.M can stop trons j.h pretty easily, also that you can air grab Spencer when he does that jumping grapple hook before he can attack but its hard to do that online.

So is SRK the offical website for MvC3 stuff or is there another website, I'm gonna go ahead and post the spidey doom combo on the website.

SRK is the biggest, next would be Eventhubs.com. Use both for updates, but SRK for froums. Just to warn you spider man already has a doom combo...the throw loop.

Yea, but you need a specific team to do that with (doom, and trish) and you have to be portioned pretty accurately. With this option you get a bit more diversity for those who don't know how to/don't want to play with Trish and Dr. Doom.

I expect some form of critism seeing as I never posted on the sight, but it's always like that on forums. I just wanna share what I learned to my spidey mains.

Go for it. I posted my X-23 find and someone in my thread made a fucking AMAZING X-23 combo video out of it on the front page a day or two ago.

Just wait for a balance patch. They're aware but they need to get more info before they fix it all. We only got the Sentinel one because that was intended before release.

I'm not interested in a balance patch unless it flat out removes X Factor from the game. I'm tired of shitty people using hulk and dante x factoring and killing 2 of my guys at once. If the ability to kill 2 people at once exists it damn well better be hard to do. Leave X Factor in but give it Summon Suffering's fucking command, anything to keep retards from using it and I'll be happy. Fuck.

Yeah, level 3 x-factor is, really, the dumbest shit ever created. It's silly when the best counters to something are either run away or activate it too.

I just hate X-factor 3 dark phoenix cause she is so dam stupid. I honestly just hate that people can mash non stop and get through ly advantage.

Well all you people saying x-factor ruins the game are as sadly predictable as the ones calling it, to be precise, 'ayuusss'... Not to come off as serious or anything, but I think it's too early to say much about the 'ayuusss'ness of the game. X-factor is here to stay, I've been watching the Break on youtube (thanks Jaxel), and I have to say the matches would be 100% more boring/'ayuusss' without it...

But that's just my 2 pence, I think there is a lot of OP stuff going on actually that people have caught on to, *cough* Magneto Viper *cough*, but it's still pretty tough and doesn't break the game *cough* Dormammu *cough* all by itself. I'm just disappointed by the lack of Deadpool''s, I know he comes off as an average, novice/beginner kind of character, and he is. But no one makes the game look better. Hats off to Mr Quotes

Picking up Super Skrull as well, any tips for him would be good, elastic slam is great, problems come when linking moves, harder to focus on a pad in this game without breaking into fits of tenderisers.

If anyone's up for a game I've had some alright matches so far with Americans too

You're silly. Then again, I personally never said that X-factor ruins the game. I do, however, think that it's stupid that X-factor level 3 is overpowered. However, how does not finding one aspect of a game appealing equate to what you're saying? There are a lot of things to be exploited and explored but there is no depth of knowledge required to use X-factor level 3, fire it off, connect to random gatling combo, and then win. I do believe that JWong is one of the only known top players to be exploring the more defensive side of the game and exploring matchups, though, so there is still a lot of room for growth and I don't believe any character should be called OP at this point...with the exception of Dark Phoenix.

Heh, Dark Phoneix, the pink elephant standing in the corner. Well if we could leave her there for a minute, what I said was it's too early to be bleating and 'X-factor is here to stay'. I also said a few other things...

For the record it's never even occured to me to use X-factor like that (past simply using X-factor to win against an opponent who also activates it), but then I spent a few hundred online games getting past 'pineapple surprise!'... Still going strong btw

I'm starting to agree with the over powered that is level 3 x-factor. Unless it's just because it's online, trying to defend some level 3's are pretty insane. I think it may come with time to find out what to do with it but for now it gets under my skin when n00b #379 level 3 X factor's an Akuma and spams Hurricane kick all day until they finally get one to connect and beams to for an instant K.O. That, my friends, is when the game takes no skill to get a win.

And Deadpool is awesome, he is far from mediocre/average in this game, he has to be one of the best turtles in the game imo. Pinapple suprise to "sting's don't it?" to a M "Have gun, will shoot!" is just amazing. If they ever do get close, L/M Katanarama into Chimichangas is a pretty decent space tool. You should see me work it's magic, it's pretty impressive (especially on a sentinel, there's not much they can do about him).

I really just meant he's an accessible character. Well rounded once you figure him out, but not the most powerful. His DHC's are pretty good for his teammates but on his own or even as an assist he suffers a bit.

His assists aren't brilliant, mostly just luck but get careless and you get a dead Deadpool... I would say buff his health, his healing factor is stronger then Wolverine's because of his strong personality and mental strength (craziness). Make him recover health while on point perhaps or just recover quicker or perhaps past red. Then I'd be more happy saying he's up there with the best in the game.
