Viola Combo & Tech Trap Discussion

Hmm, have been testing the SET 3B AAB 6[A+B] 2B+K BE 66 AAB 66B 66A+BB combo, does 116 now, 120+ if the opp. is mashing tech. I don't remember too well, but wasn't this always escape-able by teching left after the 6[A+B]? I have the dummy set to tech left, and it seems to be able to on some occasions and not on others. I really doubt this combo is guaranteed, so perhaps I'm just inconsistent somewhere.
 
the most reliable combo after B+K(BE) is:
B+K(BE) delay 2A+B 2B+K(BE) 66 AAB 66B 66A+BB - 125 damage. If you delay the 2A+B too shortly it will deal just 107 tho. You need to be close enough for 2A+B to hit, so it is best used after CH 6AB (it will total for 141 dmg then)

I tested this a whole lot - the 6(A+B) followup is 20x more reliable. 2A+B cuts the damage short too often because it doesn't allow for the opponent to actually hit the ground (which is a large chunk of B+K BE's damage) unless you time it PERFECTLY, which is way too hard.
 
44 A (BE) 6B+K 6B (6b+khit) 3B AAB 66B 66A+BB is now 112, (etc...) 2A+B 2B+K BE AAB 66B 66A+BB is 130ish. Not with Clean Hits. This is very acceptable damage for the meter use now.

Also 66B and 1A+B can confirm into 2B+K BE but it can be ukemi'd so really not super great. 66B 2B+K BE 66B 66A+BB is over 100 damage tho. too bad it's posibble to ukemi.

edit: actually I think if you are quick enough the 66B 2B+K BE is garunteed. I'm just sloppy. someone help me check xD

Is this a combo? I have 145 dmg out of that, it seems too much for just one BE.

strange. I can't for the life of me pull off a 6A+B that makes the following 2B+K(BE) unavoidable. Opponent can always ukemi it sideways and even if we assume they don't timing on 6A+B to get a backslide animation is quite difficult. Thats the animation im supposed to get, right?
Meanwhile, i can do 2A+B 2B+K(BE) followup dealing full damage everytime, 2A+B just needs to be delayed and you have enormous amount of time to land it. B+K(BE) 2A+B alone should deal 73 damage if done right.
 
pretty simple tech trap, requires a bit of timing...catches all techs, the tech trap is at the 3A

44B(BE) , 4B, 6B+K -3A,3B,

if u land the trap you can go for a total of around 206 to 216 (depending on which way they tech) if you go for AAB, 2A+B, 2B+K (BE), AAB ,66B, 66A+BB after the 3B

also after a 1A+B, you can go for a tech trap with 44B this also catches all techs

Ohhhh wow this is getting way out of hand...

I get 127 on that first combo. Does it require a tech at the end to get that high?
 
Not sure, maybe i messed up and had tech on I'll double check in a second.

[edit] Nope its 141 no tech at all. If you get 127 that means the 2b is not comboing into the 44a be. Do the 44a faster and you should get it. Yeah this is getting ridiculous.
 
Not sure if this was listed yet, but your longest range 6B+K combo should be:

6B+K 4B AAB 2K

The 2K at the end rarely connects. I'd just take your +15 or whatever it is.
 
I'm having trouble hitting AAB after SET 33B - is the timing on this just super strict, or is it not always guaranteed? Is there a better follow up?
 
if you want to use AAB after non-charged 33B you have to make a micro step forward before AAB. Its quite hard.
 
Can someone please confirm if this is ACable for me? i've been using it quite consistently, but it looks a bit too good for a B+K BE combo without any asian timing, cos 6(A+B) hates me and i'm too stupid to understand the game's math mechanics.

or you can spend another meter for added dmg

Setting the ball back gives the right timing to mash AAB, but it doesn't seem to work well if she's facing the opp's sides...
