Just hit edit and there should be a delete option there.
Problem we've had at the last couple tournaments here were high door fees, but at least the entry was $10. Sometimes they are necessary(the door fees), but it's still a nuisance.

I don't mind a 10 dollar entry or so but usually if I'm playing only one game. If I'm trying to enter multiple games, that can add up in a hurry. I can only see paying 20 if it's a major. Any more than 10 for a local tourney is stretching it (Unless you get a large amount of entrants).

uh, most tournaments are $10 entry, not $5
seeing as how all that tournament organizers seem to care about is good turnout, raising entry fee would be a bad idea, since higher fees might deter new players from entering tournaments

Also most SC majors have a $20 entry fee. A lot of multi game majors will often have $10 entries for people that want to enter multiple games. NEC was $15, I believe for SC4.

Most of the Michigan tournaments that I wanted to attend have 5 dollar entry fees so I don't go. If they were 10 I would show up but $5 dollars?

If you took the total amount of money you'll ever make from playing these games divided by the number of hours you invested playing it, you'd see you're making even less than $.50 an hour. The true waste of time is playing games to try to make money.

The higher the fee, the lower the turnout... unless it's some hyped up mega tournament. Local tourneys really can't afford to go much higher than $10, and $5 all but guarantees a better turn out. Players that are new to the tournament scene aren't going to be too enthusiastic about shelling out $20 for a tournament they already know they have virtually no chance of placing in.
