Xbox Live Thread

hey im working on getting TF2 so once i get a hang for it and after you guys help me a small bit lol
 
You guys talking about going pro in PC version, right? Pretty sure there isn't anything on 360.

Shadius get TF2 on the PC if anything, these guys aren't going to play on 360 all that often, go for GoW2 if you want to play a shooter with them regularly.

Well then firstly, entire shift of the player roster will have to shuffle over to the PC version. As the 360 version is constantly outdated. PLUS, it gives you access to more players, many steming from this community.

2nd, the time and effort is something EVERYONE ON THE TEAM, NOT ONLY THE STRONGEST PLAYERS will have to agree on and schedule around. Actually gonna have to put in some sweat and dedication. Which may be easy for a sigular person, but everyone on the team at least needs a little of this mindset to keep the team as a whole up to the task.

really and what needs to be understood it can't be "lolclanmatchlol" gotta put some serious behind your wanting to win. I know you guys know this, but this is for peeps that don't know this.

But don't look to me for this. No PC to run it, 3rd shift work schedule, and I don't play it enough to even stay consistant, even by 360 standards.
 
Yea the "pro" TF2 matches will be PC. This is my mindset-

If there is any game that I can play team based games of skill, with friends that all have a similar schedule and can communicate and coordinate, I will take it seriously, play my heart out and try to make it as far as we can.

Getting back to 360-

Games I plan to play on Live with friends in da near future:

TF2, GOW2, SC4

we seriously need to get some good ol gears goin, those matches were mad fun back in the day. Look out for my old unit, THEY WILL BE BACK- Mr. Qoo, El Funk, Joeshimitsu and Big Fun, heck yes son.

Im rolling out GoW2 Saturday hardcore with some local friends coming over. The door will be open for anyone.
 
How scary would it be if our team just ran towards another team with a synchronus 'Classy activation' right out the gates?

I think they'd have quite a few DC's, no one wants any of that shit!

You guys should look into highlanders (there can only be one!... of each class on either team) if you're going to get into competitive PC TF2.

havent played one of those yet. saw a few pub servers for highlander, but I figured Id probably end up with pyro or some shit. besides, its more fun w people you know.

ill post up on the TF2 thread about the whole clan thing

Gopher: Too true. Though if you look into a highlander ladder, you could still play as a team... it's just fun to have more class variety than just Solly/Demo/Scout/Medic which seem to dominate comp play.

They play on PC as well, pretty much everyone except Rek and myself, I think. And that's just because we're dirt poor, lol.

Perhaps. ;) I have a PS3 crew that competed in TF2 but I chose to remain a backup only rather than joining the main team because my work schedule did not agree with scrim times. Only a few of them have moved over to PC though, the rest are too busy playing Resistance 2 and LBP to bother upgrading their computers.

I'm gonna post in the TF2 topic 'bout maybe joining up with you guys...
 
Friday November 7th, Gears 2 is launching for the Xbox 360. I have to work friday evening.

So Saturday November 8th, my friends list! try to jump in my hosted room.

-The room will be public so no dibs. Only 9 open spots.(may be less once it kicks off)
-MIC IS REQUIRED!(no mics are insta boot)This is a team based shooter COMMUNICATION IS IMPORTANT!
-We will be playing the VS Multiplayer, NO HORDE OR CO-OP!
-Since the game is new and it will be a public game, it may be hard to get in.

If you don't have it, rent it or something. Seriously, its gonna be good times. While I am going to run the game through its paces to see how it holds up I plan on having fun doing so. The public room should only end if my xbox freezes or red rings or if I get the gay as hell unreadable disc bullshit message.
