I hope so. Now that Namco has learned how to do decent netcode, hopefully they get some decent balance and SC5 can be a good end to fighters on the PS3 or 360. The most important thing will be the balance though.

If anything, SC5 should do a Tekken 3, cut the cast down, and concentrate on balancing and expanding movelists. Has there been any news of a SC5 even? With Tekken bombing saleswise , it's possible SC4 is #2 in sales for fighting games this gen, why not a SC5?

This is an area where SC4 suffers. Unlike VF, some chars just aren't tourney viable. Namco never cares about balance- they're similar to SNK in this regard.

I don't like 5 move characters, as my 3d background is more VF then SC. In VF5 you literally have to know how to use every move, except for about 5-10 joke moves. Also , isn't saying that characters are 5 move whores kinda slamming SC?

When a 3d fighter where people regularly use about 25-40 moves on the movelist devolves into a situation where it goes into move spam. I know when I fight Yoda I pretty much only use 2-3 moves, to do anything else is stupid. It's not a function of character balance.
