Recently, there has been an influx of interest in SoulCalibur 2 online play through the Dolphin Emulator. If you don't know what that is, it is an emulator that you can install on your PC which allows you to play games featured on the Gamecube and Wii. Since the online runs smoother than SoulCalibur 2 HD Online for the PS3 and Xbox 360, you may want to try this as an alternative to that game. A step by step guide was made by @songohanx in a different thread, so I will essentially just copy and paste it into the spoiler. Hope you all enjoy some classic Soulcalibur matches!

E3 takes place June 14-16 in Los Angeles, California. BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment has released what types of games that they plan to announce. You can follow this link to the list. There is a "Fighting / Wrestling" title that is TBA for PS4, XBONE, and PC. Maybe it will be a Tekken 7 console version, some anime game, or a new Soulcalibur. Time will tell!

Hey everyone! Over the course of a few weeks, I have been in contact with the Outcast Odyssey creators and have finally obtained all of the images that feature Soulcalibur characters. The images with the red borders have been inserted into the wiki of each featured character.

Since the weapons are not characters, Soul Edge was put in Nightmare's wiki while Soul Calibur was put in Elysium's wiki. If you want to support the artwork, then make sure to download the game or like them on their Facebook page. It is also important to note that if you choose to download the game, then you would be able to see these images as holographic cards with animated backgrounds. Enjoy the gallery (Click images to enlarge)!

A 3-4 month hiatus from Project Soul's social media services has recently ended. What pieces of news are coming around this new year? You guessed it! Things that are not Soulcalibur VI. This brings up an interesting question. How big is the team's budget, and how much time are they being given for the next installment? Let's visit what they've said in regards to their current side projects.

We'll start with the most recent posts on the @hoshino_calibur twitter account. For those of you who don't know, Project Soul has been partnered with the developer of another Namco mobile called Outcast Odyssey. This is the second batch of character artwork to be plugged into the game. If you want to play this game on your iPhone or Android, the characters that have been added to Outcast Odyssey are Yoshimitsu, Taki, Sophitia, Mina, Elysium, Algol, Tira, Aeon, Hilde, Zasalamel, and most importantly Talim! I will link the awesome artwork of these...

SOULCALIBUR V and II HD Coming to Playstation Now

The official SOULCALIBUR twitter account (@hoshino_calibur) has confirmed today that the PS3 version of both SC5 and SC2HD are currently on sale in the PSN store. They will also be available for streaming play on Playstation Now (at least in Japan) on April 14.

Playstation Now is a cloud based service that allows you to play older Playstation titles on your PS4. With PSNow, you should be able to play various PS3 games on your PS4, with your PS4 peripherals. I can't speak for the quality of this for fighting games, since fighting games are far more sensitive to lag than other genres... but it's been relatively successful for other types of games.

Hoshino silenced by Namco? News from Harada

As most of you may know by now, Hoshino (@hoshino_calibur), who is the director of the Soulcalibur series as of 2013, has not been actively communicating with other users on Twitter. It is currently a Soulcalibur news station and not the voice or thoughts of the director himself. We generally see Twitter accounts for both game news and for the leading director when we take a look at other fighting games.

Why is Soulcalibur so different in comparison? Katsuhiro Harada (@Harada_TEKKEN), the director of the TEKKEN series, had this to say on Twitter yesterday in reply to a comment aimed at him.
