Amy broken ?

Considering how weak your Setsuka currently is I'd focus on getting her ready for Cannes (though In your place I wouldnt even pick a second char with large tourney in sight). But if you want to lose with as many characters as possible I cannot stop you. :sc2mit2:
 
it's Voldo, his third character, watch. I'm the lord, I got premonitions like that. Or, he might try you with Mitsurugi. The vision is a little foggy. One of these two for sure tho.
 
Oh don't misunderstand. Kilik is my true and only main and he will always be at the forefront. There is no way in hell i'm going out to Cannes and running anything but Kilik or at any major for that matter. In terms of testing Kingusha's Amy who seems to make u believe Amy is broken i'm gonna test with 3 different characters just so I could cement the fact that she's not. That way you would be thoroughly convinced.

My Setsuka is without a doubt weak but I promise u by the time Cannes rolls around (a little over half a year) she will be maxed out. That I guarantee. To speed that process along I'm posting any recorded vids I have of her for proper critique so she can improve much faster. Maxou and another already gave me some good advice that I can apply to her game. Though I thought I should mention that all of my Setsuka practice is a direct translation of Setsuka on PSP and none from SC4 on PS3 which is difficult in itself. I say by the time NEC10 (December) rolls around she should be beastly in my hands. If u can u should give me some critique on her as well if u can.

if it happens to be Voldo, good for him!!..there's not enough Voldo play these days in SC4 but will take some time to get used to with his Cf game and shenanigans.. or Amy who is very good choice though if you like range characters it s not the one for you S-U..but who ever says she broken..hmm i dunno about being broken if you know what she's all about(so try to NOT play against her online)...but i would just pick Jason or Freddy coz both their armor is impenetrable so good luck breakin' that ish AND they cant be critical finished..AM I RIGHT!!?? S-U trust me you'll not regret it!! :)

I just watched your Setsuka against ramon in that koga grand final and I concur you got a lot of work to do with her. Your Kilik is 2 million times better. You mostly gotta work on your lockdown and when not to attack (you got hit by soo much that you shouldn't have). Setsuka is the best lockdown character in the game, arguably. It's her, Hilde, and Amy, not sure the order though. hmm, then you got Algol...well, her and X were easily the best at lockdown in sc3, sc4 has all these bullshit characters. Anyways, watch Killa6 vids for lockdown tactics, he's got the best Setsuka, in the US at least (he's an idiot though, cause he hardly ever uses the umbrella to punish anything).

oh, and Sophie 11AA/A[A] ain't a mixup, it's trash, don't let Ramon do that. It was only a mixup in sc3, but you should start blocking 11A on reaction.

In regards to the TASAA, TASAA that has to do with the fact that I hesitate in punishing with umbrella because I find myself thinking that i'm using Kilik sometimes. The biggest problem for me is that I can do all her moves but i'm stiff because she is still new to me. I lack fluid movement which I will only gain through time as I become more comfortable with her. At the moment there is always this sense of hesitation.

I agree lockdown with Setsuka is effective and so much fun at the same time. I find myself laughing when playing an aggressive Setsuka and the opponent doesn't know whether to duck or stand similiar to Amy. Something tells me though while she is effective being played that way she could be better as a turtle but i'm not sure at the moment.

Lol at post. I already know how to use Amy by the way. She literally is the most braindead character in the game an takes like no time to learn. She's to boring for me to ever want to use her though unless I just feel like being random.
 
She's best when played both as a turtle and as an agressor, since she's got great punishment. But I'm not the one to ask about that, cause I play every character turtle style. Here's my Setsuka vs R3DD, where I combine the two. I had it in my head that I maybe could punish one of those moves (I think it was a flip kick) with 44B+K for a second; very dumb idea, the rest is ok tho.

killa6 is better cause he's the best in the world at mixing up with her; more aggressive than me for sure. You can't move much against him either, just have to stand there and take the mixup. this is only like 2 days after the game came out tho.

I am a master wit her, but you're the sensei of all sc3 X's, fuckin Sifu Pond. I'm just sayin I know everything there is to know about playing against her. Since my thread that started this whole thing was saying that Amy is better than sc3 Xianghua, I just said that to say, "I know my shit".

Where's Amy's...don't worry i'll wait. X's Evades ACTUALLY Evade...amy's doesn't. And her one Evade that actually does evade, it's an unsafe High. While X's is a SAFE, MID.

It doesn't do that much damage, isn't NOT impossible to block on reaction, and it's advantage can be countered by both the sisters, and you could probably find other characters to counter it's advantage also, like maybe X vs X (using the cancel).

Amy puts you in guessing games all the time, X does not. X HAS to grab alot at high level, Amy does not. X is gay in sc3, yes, and her evades are excellent, but I had a much harder time playin against Hwang than her. Both Hwang and Amy have in common that they're both brain dead easy to use, but Amy is just too good. sc3 X is broken u could say, but Amy's right up there.

but this isn't getting anywhere, there's just gonna be a difference in opinion regardless, so whatever. nobody in atl feared X, just Thuggishes, and I didn't fear his...ok maybe a little. But I refused to play his Amy when he asked for a money match, cause I already know Amy is a bitch (though, I haven't lost any money matches against Amy, just hate playing them).

Sorry to burst your bubble but ummm I'm the guy who likes to shut people down with MM's to eliminate excuses. Hence the 25-5 record. No offense to Belial/Kingusha but I can't begin to tell you how many people I shut down as the underdog over and over and over and over and over again (its funny now that I think about it). The results won't go down the way you imagine/hope which is always the case to the outside believer rooting for the other when i'm MM'ing.

That's another claim based on reality. Sorry!

For what its worth though i'm not going out there with drama like some of my MM's so don't misunderstand as I respect Belial as a competitor and I never even spoke to Kingusha. This is just to destroy such a false notion.

I mean you have to GUESS that she is going to throw you, by either ducking or which throw are you going to break....

No it just means I'm not delusional and neither are you. Though I think alot of people on SC mix up broken with over powered/to strong or in some extreme cases just really good. For Amy to be broke her tier listing would not rank her where she is.
