Sacharja : Your nick is still impossible for me to pronounce correctly :) Very good Siegfried, I would have liked to encounter you in the tourney with you and I playing seriously this time ;)

Docvizzo : You gotta work on your punishing skill (so do I though) ;) I did so much random stuff when we played in freeplay that went unpunished !! Umbrella (blocked) into umbrella again shouldn't hit you xD !!
And I think that shit was recorded haha !

Furzy : Very good Yoshi, the more I see you, the more of a threat you become...

Team Italy: The coolest kids EVER! I couldn't understand half of their conversations, but I knew it was talking shit 90% of the time and I loved it. ♥♥♥ Ugo and Licia ♥♥♥ You guys were the best part of my trip. Send your Voldo player to the next big gathering. We have not settled our score!

Team Germany: SerJarjar, it was lots of fun hanging out with you the last night in France. You suck for taking me out of winners, but I guess if I won you'd feed me to that giant skinhead you brought along. docvizzo, lots of fun playing with you and hanging out during the tournament. Good luck with your studies and come visit (and sandbag) us in the US some day! The rest of Germany... stop letting our worst player beat you up :P

Shen 1-456: You guys are top tier in my book. The placings don't reflect the sheer amount of BALLS you guys had. The mask, picking Rock, crybabying Dina to death... sooooo awesome.

Frenchies: Arthur, you're the next in line for the top, I can feel it. Your very first tourney and you're killing veterans! Too good. Saitoh, it was nice hanging out with you the final night. We had some good conversations and even though we STILL have never played, you're alright by me. :) Malek, fuck you. How are you going to let me beast you all day long and then take me out when it counts? *(!&@#(*&!@#^ P.S. You're still great and I hope to see you again when France visits us next time. Kayane, sorry I didn't take our matches seriously. I figured we still might meet up in the tournament. But we didn't get a chance to play real casuals afterward, which makes me sad :(

Anyone I missed: Sorry! There were nothing but awesome people at this tournament, so if I don't mention you by name just know that you helped make Cannes 2010 the best trip I've ever taken!

Thanks for your comment I hope I won't disapoint you ! This week was crazy and I was really glad to meet people like you, that makes me feel all the time I spent playing was worth something at last :)

I'm not going to describe all the events it would be long and nobody really cares (and my English sucks hard :D). Thanks to everyone who was involved in the event so we could play and have all the fun we had ;)

Except all the frenchies I already knew, I wanted to say special thanks again Esom and UgoIvy ! You guys were really nice with me and it helped me a lot not to screw my tournaments. Esom : what you said in the bus the Monday we left (maybe you don't remember you seemed to be quite exhausted x)) touched me (dunno if the sentence is correct pwhahaha) and I swear I'll remember it !!!

Well GGs to everyone and see you next tournament in France or anywhere =)

Here's what I remember from this event:

- Singaporian guys, all awesome. No need to make further comments on that :).
- ShenYuan 2King the shit out of Belial on team5vs5
- ShenYuan crybabying the shit out of Dina on team5vs5
- ShenChan who saved his ass after beasting the Italian Astaroth player with his Rock (otherwise dinner would have been on him for taking a sucky low-tier ><)
- HumanTyphoon imitation of Belial's voice out of nowhere, Me and Sam thought he was actually in the room hahaha
- ShenChan 1King S-U as much as he could and Belial trash talking near by (actually the 1K set-ups worked a lot on Belial later on haha he was so pissed)
- ShenOu beasting with Kilik the last night, going 2-2 against S-U :)
- Thuggish's sick mind game, how does he do that?
- Xso becoming king of Spain
- Belial talking about Keysona's decline
- German Astaroth player offering me a bottle of water, thanks again!
- Runis and his TimTams and also the hand in his pants, then touching Omar's pad, then Omar looking for a "tissue" to clean it up hahaha
- Kalas playing FT5 against his idol Kayané (and beasting, he lost only 5-3)
- That huge huge scary German Kilik player who was spamming Asura and FOTD out of nowhere oO
- Malek owning all Americans in the team5vs5, just wow
- Maxou creating a horrible pink Setsuka to fight RTD's cowboy hat Hilde
- S-U's 44K against Thuggish in the FT5! Frustrating night for Omar :(
- Belial's smile whenever he was facing Kayane
- ShenMien (Damien) winning also the low-tier tournament with a non-lowtier (X)! >< Prize was Belial's cup, wonder if he got it though
- Voldo Italian player grabing my cheek with his fingers and kissing them after it, all that to thank me for lending him my adapter. I don't know a lot of Italians, but I was shocked! hahaha
- Spanish captain getting interviewed on the main stage right before the world team tournament and saying in the gayest and weirdest possible way: "I'm embarrassed" ... WTF!

Maybe more is coming.
I hope all you guys enjoyed your trip, and will come again. It was just great playing and talking with you, hope to see you soon.

Shoutouts:

-RZA/musashi for being our guide/coach. And for being mad cool in general. Giving us food and drink on our first day after being drenched in the cold. Much <3.

-Team USA. You guys are awesome and super cool to hang out with. Wish we could have gotten our FT5's in.

-Team Belgium. Great games with you in the first round of the World Cup. It was close. But we had Hilde. :)

-Team Italy. Great fight with you too. First you send Voldo, and then you send Taki. What's funny is that Yuan is probably the only one of us who doesn't know how to fight Taki. (He's the local Taki player. Lol.) We failed to take revenge for Team Singapore from 2004. Hope we get to rematch next time. :)

-Kayane. Thanks for lending us your stick in our match with Italy when half our sticks bit the dust for no apparent reason.

-Runis. Cool guy to hang out with. And somehow or other you're always there when we turn the corner. Once even showing up with RTD. LOL. You've got some good theory. If you work on it more you might become a great player. Also thanks for the Tim Tams. We got a flavour we can't get in Singapore. :)

-Belial. Your shit talk is hilarious. Hope you feel the 2K/1K power! Lol.

-Malek. You helped us out sooo much on the first day.

-Asenka. Great event. Also thanks for showing Voldo Dance 4. :)

-RTD. Another person we kept running into. Lol. Great guy. Your wife is really cool too. :)

-thugish_pond AKA Shen Mien. You're way cooler than expected. And ridiculously humble for being the new World Champ. Great job giving Yuan a taste of his own medicine in the low tier tournament. Even if you didn't use low tier, that last match was worth every moment of it. Was fun chilling with you at the Airport. Hope you had a good trip home.

-SU. You're really cool, and hella funny when you play. Still a bit disappointed I didn't get to play you. Lol.

Maybe more to come. There were so many cool people there it's hard to remember them all.

Never saw a Rock good as that, MAD props \m/
 
Some funny things I remember too :

- RTD talking about honor to Dina when Dina refused to let him play w/ the hat (when both of them play Hilde).
- Arhiman, saying to team Italy in the World Game Cup final : "we will strike you" and SatanaXXX answering "this is not bowling, this is soulcalibur" (they got striked though but this was funny).
- Everybody in awe (including me) when watching Shen Yuan destroy a Mitsurugi player. Lots of "oouuuuaaaaah" "how did he do that" "omg", etc... :)
- S-U the beggar in our room... "money match??" "please money match?" "money match???" "money match please, let me do money maaaaatch...." when he actually couldn't even do one since he was "tired" haha.
- Everybody laughing when I played Docvizzo and he took everything (please post the vid haha) !
- Asenka (for those of you who could understand what he said) saying "omg it's Hokuto No Ken" in the Dina vs RTD (hilde vs hilde) match in the solo main event :)

So many great times, it really is too bad it is over, I so hope I will get to play you guys again :)

Good to see that Doc still kicks ass, and happy to meet Neo (who impressed SO MANY people ah ah), Sacharja, Kalas, Adamas and all the great German players.
But as you see, even without Keev and Kayane, France is far far away from Germany ^_^

After Keev, Belial, Omega and Kura I know have one more name to put on "the legendary skilled player list": ShenYuan.
You are, for me, the soulcalibur player of the event. I will always remember your X and your Hilde.
You changed my mind on these characters. I have to admit that you are probably right about Hilde.
The way you played her should be the real way to play Hilde.
And how to forget about ShenChan, THE rock player. Before Cannes 2010 I didn't expect noone to perform decently with this character (even LAU failed, and he is a legend too). But now, I think people will remind Rock as the character who can beat Asta in a world cup semi final !
And I don't forget the others. All of you where very impressive. ShenRii can be proud of you !
As he told me in USA, The Teacher and The Killer are both very strong.
Thx so much for coming. We miss you.
