Madoka figma is ready to be shipped. Sadly, as I expected, Hanekawa is too big to be shipped together in SAL. Also, fml for having Sep figure shipment, tuition deadline, and rent land all around the same time.
 
I mainly watch anime that not a lot of people are interested in. I love ARIA, Minami-ke, Texhnolyze, and School Rumbe, Azumanga Daioh. Well, school rumble and Azumanga is kind of popular but that is just a few. Yeah I like other anime like GITS Stand Alone series and Ergo Proxy because of their very in depth story line. I'm also a huge fan of school day comedies. not stupid funny things like Bobobo or things that try to hard like Durarara! just something I can sit back and relax too.

Also if anyone can a more chill anime than the ARIA series let me know.
 
Thoughts on High School of the Dead dubbed version? I actually think they did a good job with some of the jokes and the Voice actors were pretty good.
 
HOTD dubbed is actually quite good, thank you netflix lol. Also uncensored, good stuff.

lol Vincent maybe every anime on that list is famous, the least would maybe be Ergo or Tex lol, and they are well known.

really? then probably in the three states I lived in (wait maybe two because texas is Funimation's HQ) no one has a clue as to what they are. I give props to the people who made HOTD. it's pretty much the only zombie apocalypse anime that I know of. With the exception of a LOT of perverted random shots that take away from the story and have no purpose I really like it.

Dude the story of HOTD is the perverted stuff, it is the only reason it exists, the creator was originally of Digital Accel Works, or still is even, a huge hentai doujin group. And hell i love this man, in an interview about the show he straight up says he's making the show that everyone would want to see in real life. Hot half naked chicks running for their lives and kicking ass, because everyone would want that if it really happened. I respect that man.

I wouldn't want that in real life and I'm pretty sure a lot of people would agree. It's a distraction and distractions in that situation get you killed. looked at what happened to the black guy and his car in resident evil apocalypse. got distracted by a half naked chick(dead or not it doesn't matter) and crashed. when I look at a movie and television show I look at it from an artist of film critics stand point. there is a story there in HOTD and in action scenes I really get drawn into it and wonder are they going to make it out unscathed? and then a random over exaggerated boob shot pops up in my face and then the intensity and the desire to care is gone. Many of my friends that turned me to this show originally all agree on the same thing. HOTD would easily be one of my favorite anime if not for the random unnecessary perverted scenes.

I agree, I would rather die after a few days because I was too distracted trying to hit one of them hot half naked school girls, than survive the whole thing only to live the rest of my life in regret because I was too busy trying to survive that I never got a chance to try anything with them.
But that's just me and I am perverted.
Hentai > my life.
 
Fate/Zero is also awesome for that matter...and something like 47 minutes long for the first episode.

Also has anyone viewed the trailer for Holy Knights the OVA being released later this year...gotta say I like the music for it even if I don't understand a third of what is being said.
 
yeah I'm watching an anime called ghost hunt for october-halloween. It's not too bad actually. especially the third case which I'm watching right now. It reminds me of Witch hunter Robin and a couple of other mystery anime but this one is about ghost or paranormal phenomena in a realistic setting.

I just watched some of it. The art style and atmosphere seems like something straight out of paranoia agent. Not exactly horror enough for me though but thanks for the suggestion. If you haven't checked out Gilgamesh then that is a must. If you're into the whole gothic genre thing anyway. I found that I had to force myself to stop watching so I could go to bed on many nights because it was that good. the same thing with Texhnolyze and Haibane Renmei. I love some good storylines and characters. I'm tired of the same old anime that takes a couple of weeks to completely come up with the story. I want something that makes me think. something that makes me want more at the end of every episode and not just because the last one ended in a cliff hanger.
