Every character in SC5 is BE based..i thought they would have gone with and preffered if the states were more different but because now both moods have a good variety of options then im not excatly bothered by it,i just dont want them too similiar to each other
i think she will be just as difficult to learn/master in SCV but obviously more accesible too because people dont have to really know there stuff to do her great CE and BE's, and her becoming better will have also made her a little easier to play in a sense,because not as hard to win with,aslong as she hasnt been made easier to use on purpose then its ok
i am still rather concerned however that she may not be as good as we first think,because all her good things seem to be BE based,i want her buffing so her potential is used,but i love tira so i will learn her even if she was like SC4
but i know she wont be like this anymore,that much is obvious,i just wonder how much she has outside the BE's because we havent seen too much good stuff yet,i guess im talking more for good combos here,a BE has to be in there somewhere to get a good one it looks like,but it shoudnt be too much trouble as i am thinking
i like how it was stated earlier that mood changes are a lot more accesible,so you can practically decide what mood you want to be in now,thats just great,aslong as there arent too many force options because its "un-tira like" she should be more crazy after 17 years,and..well its not quite what i was hoping for,but i love how she is anyway so whatever
i would love her 2P though to be something more dark and twisted,evil looking, id love her to have some feathers on her outfit too black ostrich feathers or something
i STILL want her to have the spin stances or atleast one!or even some other stance! because JS and GS seem ever closer together now,we cant quite say how much yet,i want her to have something else,she needs more options for fun,diversity and so she is less predictable and can pressure the opponent
plus in SC4 with her lack of stuns,UB's GB's and her general lack of moves you can use due to some been too bad to use she seems to end up really with a lack of what you can do with her
SC3 tira was nothing like this..sigh, i doubt we will ever see her be like that again,i ought to worship that version for been so great,imo ofcourse! XD
in that case of pressuring another thing i want to see most is the canary waltz and halycon rondo combos too!
and i really hope her updraft has been improved-wont be as much as we want/hope but aslong as all the different moves in it arent timed the same!

Tira seems to have all of the combos she would of had before AND added moves from brave edges. Moves like 66B 44K 1B in jolly still work.
And 88B 88A 44k 44k 66b seem to still work as well. Brave edge = more combo opportunity. Its simply a giant buff for tira.

So what do you guys think of the JS CH 22A 3B 4K combo( near 1:42) damage wise? What you guys think about the 4K giving spacing on the launch?
If you notice, it was only a two hit combo at the end. Meaning 22A isn't a long enough stun for 3B. Raph just didnt block it. However she did mood shift, meaning the combo could have been extended with a 22B 66B BE so that damage looks sweet.

Edit: I just watched a SC3 fight with Tira.. She was so much better back then!
Her fight starts at around 3:30. At 4:30, she does her 2A+B-like move to WR B. AND! her 66B hit them grounded.
She was mega nerfed in SC4. It makes no sense! Why would they take away all of those tools? Her 2A+B-like move where you ended in crouch would be better than standing because you could do either WR B or 22A~44K~6666B BE. At least the crouching version should happen if they let her Jolly have that move, too. That way Jolly's 2A+B would be more than a 44K headache.

We get it, you and others have talked about this a lot here. This is the SCV Soul Arena we should only talk about the Tira in SCV. This is certainly not the place to talk about Tira in SC3. If you want to talk about how her moves or certain combos from SC3 should be implemented in SC5 then there are other threads in this SA where you can discuss it.
I only want to discuss SCV in this thread. There are so many posts made in this thread which are irrelevant. I want other users to want to come here to read our views of Tira in SCV and not something else. Im sorry by my attitude on this but im just annoyed by it all.
Its nice to see that Tira's 66K has a head spinning affect (on clean hit?) at 2:18.

So far I am liking what I see. She seems easier to use ie. no ridiculous risk for just using her movelist. They seem to have given her some actual thought. I was told her GS 3B is 0 on block. That'd be stupid but I won't argue id they keep it :) I plan on going to NEC to test our new baby as much as I can. Lemme know anything you guys want now. I'll make notes.
