Maybe that's the thing. Referring two pages back before the love pillow nonsense (spit out bile) I don't see how the humor can be engaging for an entire series.
I feel jaded because the reason why I believed anime superior to a lot of things on American entertainment is because of content, story and animation quality. Usually it's hard to get all three (best example being Appleseed, which was ridiculously awesome animation but faltering in the other two) but the shows I do like end up excelling in those areas far beyond their peers. Bleach excited me in the beginning but when it started becoming like Sailor Moon, DBZ, and other random circular storyline crap I realized how often I saw that happening.

a few series from this upcoming season have my intrest, my only problem is that it seems to be a trend where they just keep doing 12-13 episode seasons. I really miss full length Anime series.
Hakushaku to Yōsei, Looks interesting I'd love to get my hands on that promo episode they released.
Yozakura Quartet, This is looking good too this is actually one of the few that i really want to see, I love fun anime series.
Linebarrels of Iron, Looks interesting its the first time i've seen an Anime with an official site in both english and japanese....
Tales of the Abyss, I personally don't care much for Tales Anime, Tales of Eternia anime was ok i also saw Tales of Symphonia that sucked. We can hope this is actually good its suposedly going to be 26 episodes so who knows.
Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Im a gundam fanboy so i watch anyhting gundam, lets hope it keeps going wiht the momentum the first half built up, it might actually beat Gundam SEED/Destiny if all goes well.
Ga-rei-zero, This series is being done by the same studio that's going to work on Kiddy Grade II, I really want to see what they can do on a series that will be similar to it i hope they animate well, I didn't care much for SHUFFLE! animation wise. Other than that i know nothing about this series since i don't read manga, it does look interesting though.
Chaos Head, I saw the CM for this and it became a series a must see, lets hope its good.
Tytania, "Epic Space Opera" hmm, lets hope its good i totally loved Queen Elmareldas from back in the day. This is actually based om some heavy novels so i have high hopes but from what I've heard the animation might not be to great.
Zettai Shougeki ~Platonic Heart~, looks like its going to be a 5 episode OVA, once again i don't know much about the story but it seems interesting.
Hyakko, This looks like it will be a fun series too, another one i really want to see.
Rosario to Vampire S2, I loved the first season it was loads of fun.
To Aru Majutsu no Index, I know nothing about this but it looked interesting form what i've seen as such it makes my list.
Shikabane Hime: Aka, Another series that stood out to me, Its also on my list of to-watch.
Toradora!, No comments other than i want to see.

@KinoNoTabi: Gunslinger Girl 2 already came out in Japan, so I'm not sure I would classify that as "coming up".

3rd season of Black Lagoon is still a bit away as far as i know it doesnt even have a title. not really sure what else they can do with that series though.

Worst Tales game ever made... I'm sure the anime will suck just as bad as well... Tales of Symphonia is the second worst Tales game ever made, that came to America at least...

A friend of mine recommended two anime for me to watch called "Tide-Line Blue" and "Fantastic Children" but I'm not to sure yet, does anyone have an opinion on either of these anime?

I've never seen "Tide-Line Blue", Its on Box so ill be watching this when it finishes. Ill fill you in on it when im done or you can check it out too. 12 episodes + 1 OVA. btw, it seems people say its similar to Mars Daybreak, which was an interesting series so its definately worth a watch.
"Fantastic Children" now .. well while i have seen this i personally didn't "like" it but it was still interesting. I think you would have to see it for yourself to know for sure, its 26 episodes so around 10.4 hours of watching. I found it boring but the story was interesting, im not sure if you understand my contradiction there.

I remember finding mine on ebay. You could try there (Though at the moment I didn't see one up there) but Amazon also seems to have it up, starting at 41 dollars. I bought mine off ebay for 20 (Massive amount of luck).
