Paterno reported the incident to school officials the day after he was told about it. Also, he was not told complete details of the event, only that it was "inappropiate". But hey, keep speaking ill of the dead, stay classy guys.

School officials and not police. And because of that it was allowed to continue for 7 more years. GG.
 
Look, I'm sorry if it seems disrespectful on any level but when it comes to something like this I can't mythologize a man who knowingly sat next to a pedophile. He reported it, cool. But nothing happened and he still allowed Sandusky to come around and get around children. Granted he wasn't the only one who could have done more but he is the one who is being celebrated right now. There is no way a decent human being would allow a monster that hurts children roam free to hurt God knows how many more. You notified authorities. Does that excuse you from following up when those authorities fail in doing what they're supposed to be doing? Like I said I know it's not just him and they should all be strung up by their fucking toes.

The fear of them losing some sort of comfort like their cushy little job or whatever kind of pay check they were making, caused them to bottle up and not say shit! That is greed and selfishness in it's finest form. Do we accept some modicum of luxury at the pain and expense of others? Children? Those who do, would you call them decent? Fuck that! And there is no way I could mourn someone who I don't consider decent but is being mythologized and venerated because of a goddamn game. Fuck 'em all. Dead or alive.
 
Rest in Peace to my mom's dog, Haley. She just died today after being diagnosed with heart disease about a month ago. :(

She had been in our family for 16 years. I was about 5 years old when we got her.

One of my fiancee's friends fell into a coma and was declared brain-dead last weekend. There aren't any details being released as to what caused it, and I can't imagine what her family has been through.
 
It's a late entry, but my cousin Sophie passed away ...and on Christmas Eve of all times. Shit like that makes you realize how fortunate you are to have what you got :/

Aw, man, REP. That bites severely that you lost a family member, especially on a day that's supposed to be a day of joy for people. It still bites anyway just to lose a family member on any day. It just goes to show you again that you just never know when someone's gonna go. :`|
