RIP DLC

Of course they wouldn't go as far as making gloomy totally overpowered or jolly useless, there may also be moves from jolly that you like better but overall its not a coincidence that you would prefer gloomy.
okay well I feel insanely stupid now T_T I always wondered why my favorite combos required gloomy yet jolly never really had many good combos that couldn't be done in gloomy too.
On topic- What do you think would be mroe likely? Super SCV or SC DLC?

Don't know. In a perfect world they would make super SCV and would release its extra content as DLC.
I want that too but the sad truth is most of the things we want are probably unable to be put in through DLC and would need a new netcode and this and that.

Mark my words.
The 100% completed story mode will be released as free DLC.
They'll bring back Zas, but not Talim. Talim sucks, she's all about wind while Zas is like "hoe I got a scythe I need to be in every fighting game ever." He'll also be in TTT2 as a character you can ONLY use in Snoop Dogg's stage.
They'll also state the obvious story stuff.
Raph is NM. Viola is Amy. Obviously.
Also they're delete Aeon, and make ALL of Raph's normals steppable.
This is what I've seen in my crystal ball.

No talim is the dumbest thing I've ever heard (Though i can smell the deep burning stench of sarcasm all over this, but i can't tell whats sarcasm or not). her demand is greater than that of Zasalamel, or atleast equal to it.

If I had to make a choice between Talim and Zas, I'd have to choose Talim. Like Arc hinted at, I think more crave Talim over Zas. She's essentially Taki without the magic, to me. x3 Fast, easy to use, able to jump around like a nut.

Omg how the hell did this thread jump to 7 pages in less than 5 hours?
Because of this.

I don't think I'll ever get my question answered. People didn't even notice I said "Differences between Sophitia and Cassandra". I love how my words are twisted. :D
I'll try and answer this because I do see some differences with Cassandra and Sophitia. I'm not really tech savy with the game controls so forgive me. The main thing I personally feel with the difference between Cass and Sophitia is that Cass was more of the fast/agile with a hint of power type of S&S while Sophitia felt a bit more slowed down but more aggressive and powerful. At least from my observation, I mostly noticed this with SC2/SC3 (I haven't played SC4 in awhile). So yeah, that's my take on it. I do think of Pat as the new Cass and Pyrrha as the new Sophitia. Mainly because Pat's S&S is a bit fast and hard hitting (like Cassandra's) and Pyrrha's style while fast, still feels a bit more slowed but powerful (like Sophitia). And of course, Omega Pyrrha is a mixture of both Sophitia & Cassandra with some moves of her own.

And like another user said, I'm okay with 2 S&S users as well. All I ask is that Pyrrha's main style gets matured. I swear, some of her animations (which work for her as a character) bug me. lol

I don't know where to begin with this thread. Seven pages, hmm.
Well nevertheless, this is quite amusing. I'm laughing so hard right now.
I hope they do actually start somewhere with the reign of DLC characters. I'd highly expect Zasalamel and Talim, but if I had to choose one, I'd probably pick Talim. She was amazing in SC2 and then once SC3 came along I wasn't with it anymore.

Regarding the S&S, I personally believe that :sc4cas1: and :sc4sop1: are very different. I personally believe that Cassandra was a lot more agile then Sophitia, but Sophitia's moves were slightly slowed down in comparison to Cassandra's moves, but she hit a lot harder then Cassie ever did. I also believe that Sophitia is mainly a counter type of fighter. She's also quite aggressive. Unfortunately from what I've noticed she's horrible at long range, but she easily makes up for it with her strong attack throws, close quartered attack moves, as well as her immense strength and speed and of course, her 236B or 236236B moves to lead into combos or combo finishers. She is definitely more skilled and does more damage then Cassandra.

However, Cassandra's another story.
Cassandra's aggressive as well. She most definitely possesses the ability to place a lot of pressure onto her opponents through her aggressive combos, stuns and throws. Of course, don't forget her 236A which someone happened to inherit. I can easily say she combines strength with speed and goes together with much grace and ease. However, like Sophitia she has horrible range as well, but she makes up for it with her great strength and speed.

At the risk of being extremely cheesy......

Maybe that was just the end of the CaS DLC. We might get the characters, unless Namco just doesn't care about SCV anymore and is just like "TTT2 hype!!!!1!!!111"

He said, and I quote:
We wil have our last DLC this week but the combinations and fun of the Creation is endless! I hope you to enjoy it.
Although he mentions creation, he didn't say "our last Cepheus DLC", but rather "our last DLC" in general. He's either trolling us, or Namco just gave up on us (and knowing how accurate Daishi's translators are, it sounds like the latter is the case).

Fuck.

Look at their movelists.

There, done! Besides a very small amount, all their moves are different. You might as well complain about Yoshimitsu's BB being too similar to Mitsurugi's BB. If you're saying you can play Cassandra the same way as you play Sophitia, then you are lying or playing at a stupidly low level. There's very few moves sharing the same inputs and properties, and I'm pretty sure they share zero combos.

Besides, if you're gonna complain about S&S users, you should complain about SC5. We've got 2 Sophitia clones with Pyrrha and Omega Pyrrha.

I am honestly baffled there's so many people here who are against characters with the same weapon when it's so easy for them to get unique movesets.

Damn right well said.

There's really no reason to say "I want X back but not Y" or "Instead of, before Y, etc". Every character that has been in this series has fans. All of them. What we really should be asking for is for all non guests to make a comeback, in DLC or the next game. Even if they don't fit the story, just make them unavailable in story mode or at the bare minimum as selectable styles like Devil Jin with the pieces to create them ourselves.
Considering they've been using the same engine since SC1 (and possibly SE), I think this is a great idea. There's not a ton of work involved getting characters playable at all. The only real work they'd have to do is update the character model to be up to the standards of the next game. Animation and speech can be re-used. If they can't (or don't want to) keep the extra characters balanced, just have them available in a different mode (like the old versus modes which had the weapon effects).
