since I'm speaking out my ass with absolutely no prior knowledge of Voldo's tournament precedents prior to IV, this spur of the moment quasi-ranting diatribe probably isn't worth the aforementioned salt.

Unfortunately Voldo is genuinely good enough to have his own wagon. However SCIV is good enough to negate character abuse by wagon hoppers. Someone who was bad at the game will not succeed no matter what character they play, now that Algol is banned of course.

I personally think that Amy, Sieg and Mitsu are top tier, because they all have a variety of mix ups, great combos, safe moves, good amount of highs and lows, etc.

I always thought that Mitsurugi was top tier material, but you really can't compare him to Yoshimitsu that much. A few similar moves aside, they're nothing alike. Yoshi's stance changing mix-ups is the basis of what most Yoshi players use.
