[Ohio] Class is now in session

So, I came out to AL tonight. Never found anyone playing scv though, so I played third strike all night.

Not really sure who I'm looking for lol.

Whaaa, you should have at least seen me playing the pop'n music machine (9 button game) that was close to the 3rd strike machine. If you heard a player that was faster and louder than others, that was me! Did you also check the TTT2 stations? In case you took a glimpse of me, I was the one who had black side-swept hair, glasses, and a black shirt with Uncle Sam on it. Also, as I mentioned before, I have a black-and-white Swiss backpack.
Er, at any rate, Sluch didn't pop up tonight anyways, HOPEFULLY we can really play each other next Thursday. Surprised you didn't notice me. I guess I can look for you at the 3rd strike machine next time, it's only a few steps from the pop'n music machine.
Just listen for somebody tapping faster and louder than other players.

I didn't look too hard, tbh. I just kinda checked around the stations every ten minutes or so for SCV.

Idunno, I'm not really too interested in playing TTT2. Not that that'll stop me from saying hi, but just didn't really think about it lol

Were you the guys with the TTT2 stations closest to the entrance? If so, I at least know who you are now haha
 
My bad about not making it up to AL last night. My girlfriend & I had to work real late, so if we would have driven up there in that monsoon of a rain last night @ 11:30 pm, we would have only been there for less than an hour, so we just decided to not go last night.

However, we'll be up there for sure next Thursday, so there will be some SC5 going on indeed.

YES, yes we were! Keep an eye there if you don't hear me 'pounding' the pop'n music machine.

Most likely will not attend Ranbats this Saturday. Studying for two tests for Mon. (Pharmacology) and Wed. (Medical-Surgical). Guess the SC4 will have to wait for Thurs., Slucher. :S
 
No worries Ryan. We'll get those SC4 matches in another time. I do believe that Fight Night this week will be on Wednesday since Thursday is Halloween. I'll double check that & let you know what's going on.
 
Got at least a B+ A- on the 2nd Pharm. test, instructor's study guide helps.~
Gotta prepare for 2nd Medical-Surgical test now. I should have better luck on this since I now have a better feeling of what her tests are like, but it's difficult to study for... <_<|

I'll be going to Youmacon and pot-monstering in SCV and P4A. I don't expect to win, but I'll do what I can.
 
(After test remediation...), got a B+ on my Med.-Surg. test as well, thank goodness. I can take a breather for the time being since I have a 3-day weekend for studying for my OB test on Mon.
 
Looks like Fight Night was tonight on Wednesday afterall. I'm doing a health care plan for a patient at the moment (and it's the LAST one we turn in for Medical-Surgical clinical!), so sorry, couldn't go! :)
To make up for missing the last Ranbat (studying for previous tests), I'm coming to the next Ranbat Nov. 9. See you guys then!

Glad to see you'll be rocking out SC5 & Persona at Youmacon there Trent. I'll be rocking out TTT2 & SC5 myself. If somehow or another we get paired up right away, I'll let the TO's know about it. That sucked it happened at Ohayocon last year for that SC5 tourney we played right off the bat, so I don't want the same thing to happen at Youmacon in those regards.

Good times as always for this version of Fight Night at AL on Wednesday. Good seeing & chilling with everyone there. Good games to Jesse in SC5 tonight & good stuff with Voldo as always. It's funny that Xiba is my best character now. Whenever I play Viola now, I can still rock out her juggles very well, but I seem to herp derp now when setting up orb mix-ups & traps. I think the Xiba spacing & movement has spoiled me. Lol.

Oh my word, I've found more shenanigans with Viola. You know how you can back grab SET against a wall > launch > W!> back grab, etc.? Well NOW:
After launching, you can actually fit in 6B+K > 6B or 3K > A+G/B+G > launch...
The angling against the wall is a little specific and the opponent needs to be mostly straight against the wall. 3K instead of 6B seems to be a little more reliable while doing the same amount of damage.

CE when cornered to wall > back grab (if CE hit confirms) > 44A BE > 6B+K > 6B > B+G > 3B > W! > 6B+K > 6B > B+G > 3B > W! > 6B+K > 6B > B+G > 3B > AAB > ORB 2A+B > 2B+K BE > 6B+K > A > B+K BE > 66B > 66A+B

With the added "shenanigans", I can recover 1/2 a meter for another BE. Brace yourself >:D

That seems nasty. I gotta check out that goodness for sure that you found out with Viola there on the wall here Ryan.
 
Good times yesterday getting to play a little bit of SC4. It was fun to shake some of the rust off of my Seong Mi-na. Good games to Ryan. Really solid stuff with Xiangua & Setsuka.
 
Good stuff to Ryan earlier tonight playing some SC4 & ggs once again. Great stuff there with Xiangua, Setsuka, Talim, & Amy. It was nice to see what my Amy & Seong Mi-na could do. Gotta shake some more of that rust off. Lol.
